★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Right on Sumas and backing on to a Spaghetti Factory restaurant across the parking lot. Negative: The juice box/fruit/muffin breakfast thing is old. Other restaurants use vacc cards, hotel still not servicing rooms over stay and still not providing ok breakfasts. Provided orange was rotten. Pool and hot tub still closed. Brekkie take out next door $8.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: I liked the cleanliness. We were given a Pet Friendly Room because we had a small dog. Often at hotels these are the worst rooms imaginable - with body outlines on the floor! But at this hotel it was sparkling clean and fresh. Negative: I liked everything about this hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great stay at the Coast Abbotsford Hotel. The room was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. A nice surprise when I saw beautiful trees outside the window. I almost forgot that the highway is just one block away. It was very quiet at night and I had a nice sleep. The bathroom was updated and bright. Friendly staff. Very happy to find this place and I would definitely stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've stayed here three times over the last three weeks as my mom was dying in the local hospital. During a very stressful time the Coast hotel was a quiet, restful place to be. I was a little bummed out that the pool area is under renovation but I consoled myself with baths every night in the amazingly deep bathtubs. As mentioned in other reviews, the prepackaged breakfasts leave a lot to be desired, but since I'm not a breakfast person it didn't really affect me. The staff was all really nice and friendly, the rooms are clean and the beds are super comfy. I also really like the location of the hotel; easy access to the highway, close to downtown, right next to a grocery store and lots of restaurants nearby.
