Since: Jody And Ctrus at the branch have been really diligent and pleasant and worked hard to assist with my financial needs. I so a appreciate that and thankyou for all of your help! All is well . Ling - the branch manager was not only ineffective but rude.She barked orders at me, told me she opened my account so she knows me - which she did not do - I have been a customer there for fourteen years and she has been employed there for one.She then , after making several false assumptions, went on to recite ineffectual company policy to the end that I left the bank, solved the problem myself with outsode personnel and directed the personnel to HER to explain. I am now leaving the bank as I cannot give my money or my time to people who are not only ineffectual but incredibly rude. NOT that it will matter at all to CIBC - as customer relations are not what they care much about. If you want good tellers, try Henry, Lucy or Liam. If they can stand the management LING long enough to stay at the branch. Unbelievable!

I have been involved with CIBC Hillside in dealing with my mother's banking, and subsequently, her Estate. While staff does come and go, I am very satisfied with the assistance I have been given. Emails have been replied to promptly, and the advice has been sound. It is a busy branch, and probably needs more staff, but I have no complaints at this time.

This location has went downhill over the years with high staff turnovers and slipshod financial advice. Cyrus and Shirley both left the branch, leaving my accounts in a bit of a mess. Thankfully Jenna has been clearing most of issues and I'm very grateful she's still around. I'm hoping things will improve again; if not, I rather do my major transactions back at Mayfair branch or look into other options elsewhere.

I had an appointment with Chris Tang the Senior Financial Services rep and I am beyond impressed. I went in looking for information to build my credit up. Unfortunately what I was looking for was not offered by CIBC. He then looked into other options for me to start saving. Chris was professional, friendly, and very informative. He impressed me with his knowledge and advice. I was debating switching back to TD because they offer the one thing I was looking for but will not be doing so after Chris' outstanding customer service!

DO NOT BANK HERE. This is the most unprofessional group of people i have ever met. There is no communication, and emails are responded to rarely. I had to send the same documents multiple times to different employees to make anything happen. There is ZERO respect for customers at this bank. Disgusting.

I've been trying to contact reps here for months over my banking issue as my other location closed. Called multiple times and emailed my Rep with no response in over a month. No notification that my bank was overdrawn while I was waiting to hear from this person. Next agent I talked to made it clear she didn't care as she was about to quit. No service. Going to give up and look for another bank that will actually respond.

I had made an appointment to meet with one of their reps two weeks in advance and taken a day off of work to attend it. Well guess what, the bank rep I had to meet with calls me 45 minute before the appointment and tells me she can not attend it. Really?? This is not the first time either, I have been through this with this branch different reps several times before and because of this unprofessionalism, no customer services, no commitment to their jobs I will take my business elsewhere which I already have for about 90% and this will be the last bit they will loose. Never going back!

I've banked with CIBC for a number of years. I went to deposit a check and finished the transaction. The teller asked, "Can I help you with anything else" and I said yes, I just need to request a new debit card for my account. She then promptly said that the bank was now closed. Yes they were nearing closing, but if you can't do customer service why should I bank here?
