★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of bedding plants in stock that looked healthy. Store is well maintained and well stocked inside. Was fairly busy but check out was quick and efficient. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic store, I would give 5 stars except I cannot figure out their hours. Went on Saturday at 5:15 & they were already closed. On a nice spring day when everyone wants to buy materials for their home projects?! There were about 20 people besides me going back to their cars baffled. It seems today (Sunday) they're open until 8? Strange hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While I love the Hillside store because of it's extensive selection of goods, the staffing levels leave much to be desired especially up on the 2nd floor. I wandered aimlessly trying to find a clerk that could assist me in the gardening section to no avail. I eventually gave up and travelled across town to another CT store and was able to find a clerk to assist me within minutes. It will be awhile before I return to this store to shop.

They were very helpful and extremely pleasant to deal with, and solved everything for me - I really appreciate it!

The general manager reached out to me after reading my original one star review. He has listened attentively to my feedback and has worked to correct the experience that I had. This is very much appreciated. Changing my review to five stars. It's nice to know that senior management at this location cares enough to take the time to reach out and follow up promptly with individual customers. Original review below:
Came today to pick up a couple items including a helium balloon from the party centre. I wasnt even sure if the balloon counter was open (no signage, and took a while to find someone). Once we did get the balloon, I waited in the self check line with my items and two very young children. As soon as I started scanning, I was told by the attendant (who had watched me wait in that lineup with my balloon) that balloons can't be purchased at the self check. Then she sent me and my two toddlers all the way to the very back of the massive cashier line! I was quite surprised that she did this given my armload of items and two toddlers rather than just letting us go to the next available cashier. If there was a sign somewhere saying balloons can't be paid for at the self check, it was definitely not easily visible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do NOT get helium balloons from Party City in Canadian Tire. I had balloons blown up and within 16 hours they were half the size and no longer even floating. Customer service was rude and unhelpfuI. I just paid $53 for air… and it didn’t even work. What a total rip off. This organization should be ashamed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is very convenient and has a lot of the things you can find in a grocery store like paper towels, cleaning products. Store has a huge selection of small appliances at reasonable price. It's also the only major retailer that allows you to bring in your dog, so very good place for dog owners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been in a lot of Canadian tire stores across western Canada and this one is by far the best organized of them all! Doug in patio furniture was a tremendous help! We were able to pick out the patio set we wanted, along with accessories.
The store was able to arrange delivery, which was a great help!
We enjoyed the experience so much that we have returned at least 6 more times in the last few days, and have easily spent a few thousand dollars.
Customer service is extremely helpful and go above and beyond!
