J	Js R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Does anyone else miss when Canadian Tire was a medium sized store that had everything you would want from a hardware store! Now that they are publicly traded they have lost their way! We already have Walmart, Canadian Tire was great because it wasn't that. Now it's a big store that takes forever to walk around and has all the same things as it used to have

Today the ‘computers’ to look up car parts were down, I needed a headlight. An attendant directed me to parts but said there would be a 2 to 3 minute wait, “no one was around” — it was 4:10 pm on a Friday. So I went back to the aisle paged an attendant as the sign said to unlock the light bulb cabinet twice I pushed it over 5 minutes, heard it clearly announced over the PA system, and not a soul appeared. I left disgusted. I won’t be back. Ever.
M	Myron Pereira on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought two 5' nutcrackers yesterday (Jan 18, 2022), and there was no final sale sign anywhere. I even told the cash register employee that I hope it fits in my storage room, otherwise I'll have to return it, and she didn't warn me it was final sale either! To my surprise I brought it back to Canadian Tire the next morning (today), and they denied my return saying Christmas products last return date is Dec 18, and that it says final sale on the receipt. The receipt comes after the purchase... I wish I had known before the purchase, otherwise I wouldn't have taken the chance on the product, especially at almost $500 for both. I only bought them yesterday, and now I am stuck with 2 huge nutcrackers with no where to store them. Very poor customer service experience.
J	Jack Antos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever!!!! Never go to these scumbags for vehicle repairs. From the start I knew all I needed was just an ignition coil which costs most shops 200 for part and install, by the time they finished their inspection they quoted me over 800 bucks for parts that didn’t need to be replaced. I ended up taking my car to a family owned repair shop, I gave them Canadian tires invoice for all the work they tried to bill me for, the dude laughed and knew I was being scammed as well. Paid him 200 bucks and now my car is fixed and runnin in tip top shape. Only go to Canadian tire if you are in immediate need of fixing your car, other than that they are here just to take your money and don’t not care about the customers best interest in the least

I was told by one guy that they were out of stock on a particular item, only to be told by another guy that the item was in a totally different area of the store (which it was). I also had a hard time finding anyone to help me. One woman ever told me she couldn’t help me because she didn’t know much about “automotive”. That might be true, but then you should go find someone to help, not turn your back and walk away.

Q	Quegyboe's World on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my car here for an alignment after my previous experience at another shop was not what I was expecting. Did not have to wait too long for an appointment, which was good. Dropped the car off and was called a few hours later but missed the call so it went to voice mail. Rather than return the call, I went back to the shop to talk to them in person, as I was waiting in the area, figured the car was done. Upon returning, I am told by the service advisor that my car will need an ECU (computer) reset to finalize the alignment and that it will be an extra fee. I know enough about cars to know that the computer does not control the wheels in my car (Honda Civic). I told them to wait and I called the local Honda dealership service department to get a second opinion on this. They laughed at the idea of resetting the ECU for an alignment and confirmed what I already knew, that this was a cash grab. I told the service advisor that I want to pass on the ECU reset. He then brought in some worker from the garage area to try and convince me that it was needed, saying the car steering will jerk the steering direction to a random side unexpectedly if the reset it not done. I then told them I just got off the phone with Honda service department asking them about this, and they all of a sudden went quiet and said ok, no problem we will skip the reset. This was the most ridiculous customer service experience I've ever had at an auto shop. Will certainly avoid this location for auto work in the future. Be careful with these guys, don't trust everything they tell you.

Popped in tonight looking for a bookshelf, although the website said they had several in stock I was unable to locate in the location on near it. David quickly and efficiently helped me look and find them ? he went above and beyond many employees or stores would have stopped at the location or near it and state they must be out. David continued to search. The store was clean, tidy and bright. Employees were easy to spot. The issue with the location of the shelf was quickly being corrected. Check out was efficient and personable. Thanks David and the team at Canadian Tire Langford for making my evening a success!!!!!
