★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly not my best experience. The staff are really nice and friendly but the company is very difficult to deal with. Cell coverage is spotty outside of metro areas and the company still has a long way to go. I really hope they improve their service and policies because they have great potential.

I went inside to ask for a sim to put in my smart watch and the guy started repeating on "we don't support smart watch". I tried to explain that i put the sim I have in my smartphone inside and it worked, it does support 4g and he was keep repeating the same phrase over and over. Very rude!
I will never enter a Freedom shop again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff members are helpful, and not pushy. Phone prices seem to be marked up by 3-5%, which is reasonable. However, phone accessories are overpriced. Cellphone plans come bundled with free Wi-Fi, which makes Freedom Mobile plan the most affordable plan in Canada, thus far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scott at the Hillside location was absolutely amazing! He was not pushy and very knowledgeable about the phones and plans and upfront on pricing. I ended up switching over three phone from Bell over to Freedom. I was nervous at first but Scott said I had a 15 day return period if I wasn't happy. I have had no issues sent my parents into switch! Would recommend freedom and Scott as your rep any day !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some staff were great and knowledgeable, wasn't happy with the phone services. Returned my phone within the 15 days, all seemed well. Until two weeks later when a charge came off my credit card, my account was not deactivated. It has been a huge headache trying to get money back, money that should have never been taken. Looking at over 10 weeks for the money to be returned to my credit card. If it wasn't for this aftermath, I would have happily walked away from Freedom without leaving a bad review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just want to say a massive shout out to everyone at this store, special mentions to Jeff, Chris and Jordan for their patience, professionalism and understanding in helping me get everything sorted a new phone and a ton of issues. These folks really know how to support and help people. 10/10 would recommend everyone go Freedom Mobile after how much they helped me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've dealt with Freedom at 2 other locations in Victoria and received excellent, professional service. The male employee that I dealt with at Hillside was arrogant, argumentative and does not understand what customer service means. When I explained what had been advised to me at another location regarding a phone issue, he rolled his eyes and said they didn't know what they were talking about. If you want professional service go to the Bay Center or Mayfair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vancouver Island, Freedom Mobile, has the worst coverage. Anytime you leave Victoria there are dead spots all over. All towns on the island are incredibly bad. You can occasionally get access through roaming but its very limited and inconsistent.
