The customer service at this bank have become bad over time. I have been banking with this branch for more than 2 years. But today’s experience was not good. I asked for a colored bank profile and they reacted as if i have asked for a piece of gold. The cashier(Adrene) said i do not have authority to print it in colour and said that it cost money to print in colour. I replied that I will pay for that and I asked her to ask Grayson(Advisor) to give you authorization to print in colour. And she took grayson to the print area (away from the counter) and then came back and said he have some important work to do. Well I wasn’t asking for hours it was just to print a piece of paper. Secondly, its a request to the manager that please re train the cashier to print the bank profile because the cashier printed the black and white copy on A4 sheet and then tear some of the part of the paper because she didn’t knew how to print it properly. I actually needed the whole paper. I just cannot submit half a paper to the immigration can i?

Very confused as to why have a physical bank when they can’t even give you rolls of loonies, or any change for that matter. Inside is dingy and looks like they stopped doing a renovation literally half way through.

Since their recent renovations, it seems it has become more automated and decreased simple services. I used to come here to get rolls of loonies for laundry change but they no longer carry change on hand. Another time I went in to deposit some bonds and they didn't have the ability to "handle cheques in person" as I was told. Essentially, it looks a lot nicer after the renos but they have lost simple functionalities that I previously used. I wonder what the benefits of these renos are?

Every person who works here is always so wonderful and accommodating. Flora went above and beyond for me today in taking the time to make sure I was taken care of. I'm honestly blown away by their customer service. There is a CIBC across from my work that is closer but I will now take extra time to come to this location with how incredible they all are.

Don't like the "updated" look at all, in fact I hate it. The two branches nearest me have gone to this type of automated service. Jobs lost, and affects many clients in many ways going to this model. I'll be looking into other Banks to switch my business, who care about their customers needs, not the bank's needs!!! When I first walked in I thought I was in the wrong place, so I asked if they were selling laptops or what, because that's all I saw - machines machines machine, which cannot disperse $10, give change, or other services I used to get from tellers!!! Hate this setup entirely!!!

Walked in the other day and the gentleman that approached me immediately was unprofessional and condescending. To be even mildly mocked when dealing with financial matters in a state of emergency (from a very polite and direct customer), is ridiculous. Glad it isn't my branch, as I won't ever need to step in there again.

CIBC funds and invests billions of dollars every year in fossil fuels contributing to global warming. Other banks are doing significantly more to lessen their environmental impact, so why bank with CIBC? Consider switching to an alternative (credit union or other bank), until CIBC takes actions to divest.

CIBC as a bank gets 2-star from me. Ok services and decent online banking. Staff is usually terrible though - they can't help with anything that a machine wouldn't reliably be able to do. Not that they are not willing - just ignorant, lacking knowledge, experience, access... you name it. And they never get back to you (as it was mentioned many times here). They have also messed up my TFSA and the only person with enough brains to actually look into it (after weeks of me just trying my luck with other employees and getting nowhere) was Grayson Noakes, who works at this branch. He is the reason there's an additional star in this review. Too bad employees like him are very scarce in CIBC...
