★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently went in to exchange a Christmas gift and recieved little to no help in finding what I was looking for. I asked if they carried more Joggers in a different size and the employee replied with "whatever's there is there, man". Although the music the one worker was playing was good, it was definitely not appropriate music to be playing in a public store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to your store to see if you guys stocked something I found in a different skateshop, and was checking to see if you had something similar. After saying where I had just been, your staff member responded with "Yea, I hate that store and we don't stock stupid little things here, we actually stock big stuff that sells" and then walked away. I guess he forgot that customer service is the most important thing in retail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent 200.00 at West49 last night. Among the clothing was 4 pair of pants for one of my grandchildren.
When I took them to his home he was so excited he took the tags off and put them away in his drawer for back to school. This morning his mom got him to try them on and they did not fit.
I took them back to the store first thing this morning with the tags and receipt and they would not take them back because the tags were not on them. I do not understand how difficult it is to attach tags to the pants again.
The clerk behind the desk would not make a decision without contacting her district manager Cory. She said it was their policy and she could get in trouble. She tried to call him but there was no answer.
I feel bad for the clerks that work at West 49 that can’t use empowerment for fear they will get in trouble. She was training a new employee so the new employee got to witness this.
I told her I work for a company that encourages us to use empowerment. We never have to phone a manager for permission to satisfy a customer. We get a note saying thank you for taking care of them.
I have 4 grandchildren and all their scooters and clothing were bought there.
I know policies are put in place for a reason but sometimes it is not all quite black and white. The tags could have been put back on these pants.
I will not be back to West49.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BAD SERVICE! Walked in to ask about a pair of shoes and if they were on sale or not and if so which ones were they, and the two employees were exponentially rude and disrespectful. The woman even acknowledged me when I looking for help. She even looked directly at me when I was try to look as if I needed help. I stood right beside them and they talked about a fine one of them had and other irrelevant stuff. I probably waited 5 minutes until I just gave up and said to my self that it wasn't worth my time. I walked out of the store in frustration and come home to write this. unbelievably disappointed. Hope this effects your income.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw these cool plastic skateboards on display, thought it’d be great for forgetting your board outside or doing tricks off fountains and stuff. Wish there were cooler colours though. Staff was nice and the store was clean.
