Walk-in Clinic at Walmart Sage Hill by Jack Nathan Health - Calgary

Very horrible experience to say the least. We had a simple form that needed a doctor to do some basic physical measurements and fill it out, and our doctor told us clearly any walk in clinic will be able to do it, so we chose the closest one and ignored the bad reviews on google. Once we got there, the front stuff just told us they cannot do it cuz we are not their patients. Why claim to be a walk in clinic then? With that question in mind, I went to another walk in clink, we were took in without any problem. If you are looking walk in clinics, I recommend you stay away from this one.

This is the second time I've been here and I won't be going back. The first time I visited was a few months ago when my two year old was terribly sick. The doctor misdiagnosed him by telling me it was a viral infection and it would go away with lots of rest and fluids. A day and a half later, he had become worse. I took him to see our family doctor and she was able to tell right away that it was a strep infection. He had the same symptoms a few days earlier but this doctor didn't catch it?! My family doctor prescribed antibiotics and within a few hours, I could see improvement. My second visit was today. My family doctor couldn't see me in the morning but my throat was in so much pain I had to see someone, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The same doctor saw me. I think she was trying to be friendly but her manner came off as unprofessional. She took a swab of my throat to send to the lab. But what got me was that she was trying to get me to take it to the lab myself. Isn't that what the doctor's office does? In the meantime, while I wait for the results, I can take Advil for the pain or some numbing gel or gargle salt water (which I had already done to no avail.) She did eventually find out that the lab people hadn't come in to collect the samples yet so she'd be able to send the swab after all. I left and drove straight to my family doctor. I did have to wait, but it was worth it. She examined me and right away could tell it was strep. She took a swab to just verify her diagnosis and prescribed antibiotics. And best thing, she didn't try to get me to drive to the lab to take in the swab. Never going back to this clinic. Even if I knew there was no wait time to see the doctor at this clinic, I'd rather wait hours at my family doctor's office than go back.

The first two years of service I had in this clinic was fine. But recently, when you call them, no one answers and it happens more often nowadays.

Dr. Agatha is my new doctor. She is quick and efficient and friendly and thorough. I'm very pleased with this clinic and doctor.

I have never been laughed at in the face by a doctor before—until now. I went in for chronic pain and the doctor said there was nothing she could do about it while laughing at my symptoms. She then told me to just deal with it, take some Advil if the pain was too much, and to not bother going to other doctors about it. The level of unprofessionalism is truly astounding. I left the clinic almost in tears. The doctor undermined and gaslit me the entire time. I can not stress enough… do not ever come to this clinic if you can avoid it.

Worst Clinic Ever. Doesn't accept the patient if they have an out of Province Health Card. Don't keep a POS unit and accepts the patients to carry cash. Dr is completely hungry for the money and so is the staff. Would give negative 5 star if I could.

Went to see the doctor about something that was in my hair, and the doctor didn't even bother to look at my hair to examine what was going on, or give me the time of day. 3 minutes later i was out of his office. He gave me a bottle and told me I had to come back with a sample in order to figure out what they were dealing with and sent me on my way. I got the sample, and brought it back, and the front desk staff, which was really polite and positive said their is no lable on the bottle, so they don't know where the sample is supposed to go, because the doctor didn't put am appropriate lable on it. Then in order to get the results, I had to phone in, the doctor didn't call me. Then when he did return my call, he said nothing was found, and offered no alternative solutions and hung up. I suggest this doctor should find a new line of work.

I'm between doctors so went here to get a prescription refill. I took my tablets bottle so the doctor knew I had a genuine prescription and to show exactly what I had. I got a prescription no problems, took prescription to my normal pharmacy to have the prescription filled. Turns out I'd been given a prescription for a totally different medicine. Instead of anti inflammatory he gave me anxiety medication. Thank goodness my pharmacy was on the ball and spotted the mistake. This location is a huge do not go there.
