About MCI The Doctor's Office Beacon Hill
Due to the volume of test results coming to MCI clinics each day, normal results will not be reported to the patient. We will contact patients with abnormal results or for tests that require a follow-up visit to a clinic. Pregnancy test results will be reported in a phone call to the patient. If you wish to discuss test results with your doctor, please book a follow-up appointment for one to two weeks after the tests are done. MCI is pleased to provide our patients with medical laboratory services. Please note however that due to government license regulations, we can only process tests accompanied by a requisition from an MCI doctor.

I went to a pharmacy to pick up my daughters prescription as I was informed by the “Doctor” that it should be ready in an hour- coming to know that they haven’t even sent it to the pharmacy yet -when I asked the pharmacist. So I phoned MCI spoke to “Jennifer” and I was informed that the Doctor is busy reason why it was not sent. I was asking why did this happened? Jennifer didn’t even apologize and hanged up on me while I am talking on the phone. Vey rude and wrong! No phone etiquette.
This clinic does not care about their patients and does not respect time.
The funny part is -this is the 2nd time that this happened to us.
Well, I guess we need to find new clinic who takes care of their patients.
PS: Wait time here is crazy! Your appointment is 1 but you have to wait 30-60
minutes more. tsk!

The receptionist are always too busy ,they lack in management and professionalism.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I walked to the clinic today with my one year old kid. The receptionist never bothered to ask but said but said “we’re fully booked today, we have two people” when there was no one in area physically seen. They also said they close at 1 pm. I was there 12:20 pm. Never bothered to ask or ask the doctors if they can accommodate to see my one year old. The only response was “you can try other clinic open”. Really? Then why a walking clinic if they are working by appointments only? Why there’s no priority when it involves a minor? I don’t recommend this clinic at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a pathetic clinic. I went in today as a walk in patient. The receptionist was downright rude. I had some pain on my right side of my neck. I had no other symptoms. She advised me the doctor would only do a phone call. She assumed that i had covid. I called another walk in clinic and put me on there walk in list. When i got to the other clinic the wait was minimal and got to see a Doctor. What a contrast. From the earlier reviews on this clinic in Beacon Hill its no wonder its rated poorly. Why even open as a clinic when you cant provide walk in service. Final note please send the receptionist packing. Absolutely no customer service skills.

As I am sitting here right now, the receptionist is asking to be off by 1pm and is complaining to someone on the phone about how “unwell” she feels today.
I get that you hate your job (everyone does) but refusing to give wait times, answer questions, and showing a general lack of compassion for the pain people are in when they show up to a walk in is unacceptable. I just needed an approximate wait time to see if I had to change my next appointment of the day and was blatantly denied this information.
It took 5 hours for this clinic to deal with a simple bladder infection, even though we came early to put our name on the wait list right at 9am when they started taking walk in appointments. We were still denied an approximate wait time the whole 5 hours. After 5 hours, we were told it wasn’t a bladder infection, no other tests would be done, and to go home. My advice would be to only go to this clinic and deal with their staff as a last resort because theres a large chance you will not receive care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walk-in service with a doctor Eleanor - She did not hear me out or listen to my history before jumping to conclusions that I was not knowledgeable of my own symptoms and my own body. I felt dismissed, disrespected and a waste of her time. I had better luck talking to a local pharmacist and got what I needed within 10 minutes than spending nearly 2 hours total waiting for this doctor to give me no solution.
I wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of being able to bill my visit for something they did absolutely nothing for. Better luck elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw Dr. Ephraim Mahlase and he is the "worst" doctor I ever went to for walk in. He is very arrogant and does not take your concerns seriously. He will ask you a few questions and make assumptions. I'm in pain and that's why I'm here to get it check out. I have to wait 35 minutes over my appointment time and it literally took him a couple minutes to prescribe pain relief medication without doing any check up on me. Felt like he was in rush and don't really care about your concerns. Maybe I'm the last patient and he rushing to get off work. He didn't offer me any real solutions to my problems and brush me off and suggest me to go get a family to deal with it. Isn't he a doctor? I don't understand how these people be doctors... Very useless appointment i have to say and definitely will never go back there or refer anyone I know to this clinic. Don't waste your valuable time with this doctor. NEVER GO , YOU WILL REGRET and ruin your day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I walked into the room and there was smeared blood on the chair and floor, and I accidentally sat on the bloody chair.
You can tell the nurses work hard and are very busy, this was really unfortunate.
Please clean and sanitize rooms appropriately between patients..
