★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location has the most inexperienced manager who lacks customer service and is in need of training and coaching. Her inability to process a refund and force the customer to make a phone call to her head office speaks volumes of her lack of maturity and ability to do her job. In an economy where customer service is of the upmost importance, she has cost the company a valued customer, future business and any potential referrals and puts a mark against the company's reputation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always go to chatters and there very good but since the whole best and worst reviewed videos on youtube are going wild I took small steps from best to worst and the guy that is 6 foot 3 did a amazing job on the side fade and design. But the thing is that chatters puts the cream on the hair scraper or what ever you call it but they dont do it and it kinda hurts but it is at least deserves some love too. And same price almost but chatters a little bit more because of the fade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I continue to go to SmartStyle after my hair stylist moved here 2 years ago. I have been very pleased with all the stylists as they don’t shave my head each time. They take the time to assess my needs and make the cut look like a trim rather then a ‘re-grow’ experience. The gentleman stylist is a traditional barber using electric clippers so beware, if you want this style he is your man, if you want a scissor cut, then the ladies are for you. I have to come back once for a re-touch as the cut didn’t quite work with my hair and the company policy is to have customers repay for a haircut. That is why one star is missing as that is a greedy policy and unfair to the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my third different SmartStyle Hair Salon due to job transfers. Each location has always exceeded my expectations. My new stylist Penny did a fabulous colour. She paid attention to details, chose a perfect colour and went the extra mile with conditioning. She was courteous, understanding and helpful from the first phone call and even helped me save money on products. Thank you so much I look forward to my next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just move to Calgary and was at Walmart and I noticed a hair salon inside . Was leery of the place but i needed a hair cut. So I thought what the heck.The woman that came to the front desk was very friendly and put me at ease , that she had 25 years of experience,so i said to myself, i'll give this place a try. I was given the choice of have my hair wash before or after my cut.she suggested after ,because i get my hair cut with clippers so i would'nt be itchy for the rest of the day (which was a great choice). I have had some other people that can't blend my hair good. always looks choppy. She did an awesome job and the shampoo was amazing. For sure I'll be going back to see Penny.
