★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for a vanity and it shows up that they had 6 in stock , called and confirmed , when I got there , they couldn’t find it , but finally they did found one after half an hour of search .. now it took another half an hour to find someone to take it down from the shelf and when the guy came , he run out of power with his forklift.. unbelievable.. sounds like a comedy until it happens to you .. other than that, they have good deals most of the time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ South Common Edmonton Home Depot. Relatively small project order, lumber, boards, countertop. Supposed to arrive before end of Dec., no show no call. Very hard to get answers where is the order. Shows up damaged Jan 7. Re-order supposed to arrive by Jan 12. Since that date spoke with 3 different managers, first one who placed the order (Raj) promises call back. I call him repeatedly because he doesn't call back, gave up on him. Spoke with another manager (forgot name)who promises to find out where it is... again a promise of a call back and no call back. Call again last week, speak with another "manager" (Melissa) who again promises to call back with an answer and, no surprise... no call back. I called finally fed up to the store, cancel the order for the countertop and tell them to fetch the other boards and lumber for the project and refund it. No apologies, no regrets for a massively disappointing experience, but at least an agreement to refund both purchases and another delivery charge back on them. Imagine a company that is so bad that even the managers don't care about what image they project. While it reflects badly on these "managers" for being so bad, it reflects even worse on Home Depot that all of their managers don't care and are this bad at their job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got to love South Common layout, the CT next to Home Depot, after buying cheap tools from CT, you come to grab some expensive lumber (2020-2022 joke).
I would just go here and buy all you need tools and supplies for building/ making. There's almost everything you need but most specialty tools. I love the service and deals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a wonderful experience at the store. Arnand went out if his way to help me fix my broken Grocery cart. He went into the back. Probably a bulk screw bin. And fixed my cart for free. Also Home Depot has a lot of Staff to help you. And their friendly. And the store is clean and orderly. I'll shop there again. ?✌

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tons of staff members all over the store but none will help you. I went up to two who were talking to each other. When I asked where an item was , I got the " not my department " look and seemed annoyed I interrupted them.
After searching on my own I found my items and paid for them.
Store is well stocked and pretty clean.
Too bad some staff members just don't know how and when to help customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife was in this location earlier today. She went to the paint section to get paint for our furniture. When she couldn't find what she was looking for, she want to ask one of the associates. It was an Indian Lady who was working there at the time that she went to go ask for help from. As soon as my wife asked her, this lady looked at her up and down. Not only that but she also seemed very bothered to help my wife. This Indian lady was very rude and had no interest to help my wife with what she needed.
If this location keeps up with hiring employees who cant help people with such a simple task, i will not recommend this location. I will recommend others to take their business elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an excellent store. Had a great experience today. Shannon the store manager was extremely helpful. I was having trouble finding Milwaukee storage box she came for rescue and helped me. Shannon not only found the item but also came all the way to counter for the SKU code. She is knowledgeable, polite and very professional. I will not hesitate to drive from 17 street to this store next time and recommend this to everyone.
