Each month during an equal payments plan you are required to pay in full by the due date that month’s equal payments plan instalment. I was so disheartened to discovered that we cannot return a children's bike. Our family has been shopping at the store since it opened. We've never had a problem with returns, which is a reason why we favour the store. While it seems to me self-evident that you can't return things like paint, it never occurred to us that we can't return or exchange a bike even though we have only had it for three days and it remains in perfect condition (never ridden). There are no signs in the store that bikes can't be returned. The cashier said nothing when we bought it. There was no reason to suspect that the item could not be returned. This is terribly frustrating and disappointing. I'm certainly soured on the idea of shopping there again. They really should have signs indicating that bikes cannot be returned (in our case, a friend donated a bike the next day, so we didn't need it after all).

Today, at this location we experienced very poor customer service. We found a drill that was cheaper at another store. We went to customer service to do a price match. The lady who conducted the transaction was fine. However, her coworker was quite rude and made us feel like an inconvenience to do a price match. We heard her utter under her breath to the lady that was helping us “you’re doing a price match? Good luck with that, have fun.” This transaction took 2 minutes to complete. Canadian Tire, if you read this, I am happy to give a good description of what she looked like as she didn’t have a name tag on. Next time, we will go buy the product at the store offering the better deal, we didn’t have to give you our money.

At first i saw a discount for seasonal tire swap for my Lincoln navigator so i said let me sap them at the canadian tire so i called in to make an appointment and they said that its on first come first serve basis , thats ok i did that and asked the teller how much time will it be he said about 1.5-2 hrs which is fine, i sat there for 4 hrs, i was charged with 165$ for the tore swap only (with the promotion )!…I was a bit upset but thats fine, i have already purchased new lug nuts from ford to replace my existing one (they were pretty worn out) and i asked them to dispose the old ones . Yesterday i noticed ones of my old lug nuts( the bad ones ) is installed along with the new ones then i became so upset because no if i had a flat tire i wont be able to change my tire so i went there again today to find out what happened and why i was not notified eventually no body cared about whats happened to me so i wrote this review

This is a late review but knowing people who have worked there, I bet some of the 'best practices' are still the same. I went in last year to get my new tires put on rims and then mounted on my car. As a note: I have two different bolt patterns. First of all, I arrived on time to my appointment but they had double booked the slot. It took nearly 3 hours before I got my car back. I didn't have to work the next day and just stuck to 60-80km roads. The day after I went on the highway and instantly noticed really bad vibrations. I called Canadian Tire and told them that they must have messed up. Maybe the wheels weren't balanced or they put them on the wrong bolt pattern. The guy on the phone basically laughed and said that it wouldn't be possible to put them on the wrong pattern. I got in that same day to get things checked out. Guess what? They were in such a rush the first time that they did put them on the wrong bolt pattern. my 2 bolt patterns have slight differences of 0.4mm. The mechanic who I spoke to (not a technician) even admitted they put them on the wrong pattern after everything was checked out. That second appointment was also double booked and took almost 2h. I know I'm a woman, and seemingly don't know anything about vehicles but come on. I was disgusted that I was disregarded like that on the phone and also in person for the second appointment. Don't double book, that's how safety issues come up!! Don't act rude because of my gender (I'm gonna guess!) and approach each situation with an open mind!!

Shout out to Dennis in the Pro Shop for helping me find a hi-vis vest for my dog in the hunting section. He was friendly, helpful, and patient. I appreciate that! Store itself is great too, tons of selection and clean.

It was the worst experience in my life with Canadian Tire Auto South Common. I had a flat tire and should just be repaired. When I asked how much it will cost the answer was 47$ and it take around 40 min to fix it. In 20 min I get a call and they tell couldn't fix it. I have to buy a new tire and pay for this around 200$. They didn't offer the best price although had in stock the tire for 50$. In 50 min I get a new call and told me I have to pay more for a new tire sensor. It was broken when they take off fire. They give me advice if I don't want to pay I can drive without a sensor. Sorry, but it is not my fault if you have unskilled staff. Staff don't know their own policy and lie to customers. Guy told me I can return a tire if I drive less than 100km but the next day they didn't want to listen about that. Canadian Tire Auto just makes money lying to customers. DO NOT RECOMMEND. P.S. I've repaired this tire at another tire shop and they charged just 20$

The Canadian Tire PitStop gets 10 stars. They found a mouse nest in my cabin air filter and took care of it for me. No tears, puking, or swears -- much smoother than it would have been if I had found it myself. Thanks Jayson for being brave!!

Being the flagship store in Edmonton, this store has the best selection of products and well stocked. The parking is very limited given the size of the store and the traffic. But I guess the location is pinned in the corner and it will never get better. They have some really cool displays in the store that will get kids excited!
