Very clean inside and out. Good location. Only complaint was train at 4:30 am

Very clean rooms. Great AC, Room was ice cold, water in bathroom was super hot. Breakfast was very good and they have cable. Only negative was you could hear neighbors so I just kept TV and AC on and slept fine. Would definitely recommend

BUGS IN THE ROOM!!! I stayed here about a month ago and have tried contacting the management multiple times, everytime I’m told I’ll be receiving a call back and have yet too. As well I let the Office attendant know when I was checking out. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND RISK YOUR SAFETY.

I’m from Alberta, I have been staying in Merritt and moved over to Kamloops for work. I called in advance, asked if a cash deposit was okay to secure a room. I was told by the “manager” yep all good $150 cash deposit. I paid 25+ for a cab ride to the hotel I thought everyone was all good and planned to allow me a room as it was previously agreed upon. Once I arrived at the hotel tried to check in, the manager changed his rules and regulations on the fly. Now he wanted a 150 deposit on top of prepayment for the room (he planned no breaks, I was to be charged over 100 etc.) I attempted to plead with the guy, I paid 24+ to take a cab to the hotel that I though was good to go. His behaviour was ridiculous he did not care about anything and he completely refused to work with me after letting me believe I was safe and I had a place to stay. I’m now sitting/sleeping outside and not far from the hotel, I have the money to pay for it. I was even going to have my dying mother provide her credit card info, he refused to allow my mom to do that.

Small room but adequately renovated for modern tastes and warmth. Really liked the heat light and fan in bathroom. Hotel bathrooms are always so cold you can't shower? Heat lamp made it great! Perfect for work other work crews passing through. Thanks Super8!!

Absolutely gross. Dirty bed sheets, hair and sweat. Bug and overall disgusting. Highly recommend you find another place. Talked to front desk they didn't give 2 craps about it. Gross!!!

I paid just over $180! That seems like I should get a pretty decent room to comfortably sleep in for the night.. open the door and Surprise! I was afraid to step in it.. nevermind sleep in it! It was dark and dingy, old carpeting throughout that had many smells coming off of it. My pup was going crazy with all the smells. I actually didn't feel safe leaving her on the floor.. so she stayed on her blanket on the bed or in her carrier on the bed. As I continued to walk through the room observing.. it was very obvious that cleanliness was not a priority here. There were areas that looked they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Yuck! The room was extremely small and when you use the toilet and want the door shut.. you almost have to climb into the tub to achieve this. The beds were small. There was human hair on my ?clean? bed sheets ? I was actually afraid to sleep in the bed fully expecting bugs to come find me.. none did that I know of.. thank God for small miracles.. I actually only slept on the bed.. was to grossed out to climb into the sheets. Was thankful for morning. Hubby went to make us coffee and discovered they only supply one regular coffee pack and one decaf.. terrific ? .. so I took my pup for a walk and hubby went to get us coffee and check out the breakfast. The breakfast was good! Not sure what all is offered as I never went to check it out.. but my hubby brought us back bagels with cream cheese, muffins, bananas, boiled eggs and I think that was it? ? oh and we got yucky coffee.. anyways.. the guy that checked me in was great.. even gave me a demonstration as he pulled out a tub spout ? on how to operate it so the shower works.. funniest thing I've seen in a while.. and it's great they allow pets with only a $15 charge.. aside from that.. this place really needs work and cleaners that actually clean and it's WAY OVERPRICED!!! I would not recommend this place.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Service was friendly and informative. Their appearance has curb appeal, inside gorgeous upgrades, generous breakfast we loved. We would definitely stay again.
