★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a prescription that was supposed to be ready on a certain day which I needed so I called a day before and they told me it should be ready for the afternoon of the next day. I showed up and wasted my time and it was out of stock? And was told it would be back on Monday so I waited. When I called on Monday they said it would be ready on Tuesday so I went there and it still wasn't ready so I waited a while and was not given the exact prescription my doctor prescribed and was overcharged for it. Definitely will never be getting medications from here again. Felt like there was a lack of care, could have done better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty bad location. The pharmacy is overloaded with orders and lacks the basic needs for proper organization. This results in lost prescriptions, long waiting lines, and rushed service. Basically every cashier appears to be on the brink of a mental breakdown. This place must be a nightmare to work in and I suspect management is the source of all these issues. I've taken my business elsewhere and I've been much happier ever since.

Service has improved tremendously! Thank you for paying attention to the feedback and act on improving your service.
Recently, I went to pick up some medication for my. I didn't have to wait too long in line. The staff attending to me was helpful. She had a hard time locating 1 medication that I didn't pick up from a month ago. A pharmacist then filled the prescription right away.
When my partner didn't understand the instructions, she went down to them again. She said that the pharmacist was very helpful and investigated. Good thing it was investigated - the dose was filled wrongly as there was some confusion with the earlier fill.
Overall, I'd say the service has improved!
Past review....
If I could give no stars, I would. Very slow service. The staff practically ignoring me customer after customer. And yes! I'm using the word ignoring coz it is currently happening! Very bad service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worse service ever experienced, if I could give 0 stars I would. No customer service, extremely long waits for prescription pickups. Gave me a 2hr time wait for a prescription, provided a time to come back to pick it up. Went back only to be told it would be another 3 hrs. Also no consideration for client/patient privacy. Absolutely a terribly run pharmacy with unprofessional staff. Don’t go there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store is usually very busy and the lines can go into the aisles which is difficult when shopping. I have noticed the shelves in the cosmetic section can get empty fast and many products are have been used. My only real issue was that I went to do a return for an item that I bought from a different location and I was told I could not keep the receipt since the item was not purchased at that specific location. I found that to be odd since it has never been a problem at other Shoppers locations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Echoing the same sentiments as many of the other reviewers re: pharmacy. Terribly disorganized workplace. Staff don't know where the filled prescriptions are 99% of the time. You receive an automated text message saying your prescription is ready, you show up, and they tell you to wait 30 minutes for the medication to be prepared. Some good employees trying to work within a disorganized mess.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pharmacy at Shopper’s Drug Mart Hillside is truly exceptional. I have dealt with many pharmacies over the last 50 years, and this one is the best.
Like so many other businesses, they have been busy during the pandemic, and sometimes there are lines. But the staff seems to be working as quickly as possible and (unlike some impatient customers) the staff has always been polite. Our family has had some complicated pharmacy issues, and the pharmacists (especially “Ref”) have been wonderfully patient and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give 0 stars i would. I have been going to pharmacy’s all my life being type 1 diabetic. This pharmacy is the most problematic one I have EVER been over 16 years of being diabetic. When ever I call for my diabetes supplies they either didn’t order it, can’t find it in the pharmacy, can’t process my payment info card number properly when I have called multiple times telling them the CORRECT numbers on the card, or give me attitude. There is also always a 45+ min wait to pick up supplies. As a type 1 I can die with out insulin, or have a seizure because I can’t read my blood sugars with out the sensors. I called Sunday to order supplies, they said Wednesday. I come Wednesday and there is no supplies and he accuses me of lying about calling then he found it on the computer and blamed the young worker who answered my call. Their poor young staff are so lost and untrained and get blamed by the head of the pharmacy, who should be properly training them in the first place! How can you deal with life saving medication with this kind of attitude and 0 knowledge about how anything works in their own pharmacy. Will be switching immediately after wasting the worst year of my life there
