Today I had a very unpleasant experience with a Border Services Agent (not a seawings staff member) which left me quite upset. When I returned to Seawings and explained the situation both John and Lindsay showed me extreme kindness and made sure that I was okay. Not many companies would show that level of caring. I would highly recommend Seawings to anyone! Thank you John, Lindsay and Seawings Staff.

P	Paul Hanson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If they damage your stuff they will try to avoid speaking to you or taking responsibility. I shipped a desk up from Seattle and had them bring it across. The desk cost $3,500 including taxes, and their receiver/warehouse in Blaine tipped it off a forklift from a height of about 10 inches and it crushed the corner of one of the panels. The desk is a Herman Miller piece from around 1965, so no parts are available. After a VERY determined pursuit the owner finally sent his son-in-law around to look at it and he agreed he (a cabinet maker) couldn't repair it. They sent him back to dismantle it and get the damaged panel removed and sent it to a restoration company in Seattle. The estimate to make a new panel was US $1,800. It turned out that the restoration shop were unable to figure out how to re-make a new panel and they sent it back to me untouched. I fixed it to a very satisfactory level at a cost of about $60 and about 2 hours of my time. Once it was fixed, and looking forward to sharing the good news that it wasn't going to cost very much at all, I called and left 4 messages over a week and the owner wouldn't take my call and never returned it. I assume he was trying to avoid paying for the repair. Stupid really as all I needed was for his son-in-law to come back and help assemble it (it is a roll top so at least a 4 hands effort). In the end all he did is show what kind of a man he is. I've used them several times before without any real problems.

We ordered replacement brush motors for our Eufy robovac (only available in USA) and they arrived within just a few days..... Seawings contacted me immediately and when I arrived at their office, all paperwork was sitting out ready for me to have cleared at customs within YYJ. This was a very simple process and within a few minutes I was walking away with my new side motors. No hassles..... no issues....the staff were lovely - perfect. Would most certainly use this service again.

I am a long-term Seawings customer, and I recommend this importing service as a cost effective means for bringing in parcels from the USA. I have just signed for another two parcels. They look after their customers very well. Bear in mind, that whatever Seawings imports for you, you still have to pay Canadian Customs Duty. At the airport, there is a Customs office just a short walk away from Seawings. You should always be nice to Customs officers. PLEASE NOTE: If you want to import a $20 item, you are still obliged to pay a minimum $18 handling charge to Seawings They might give you a small $ break if you ask nicely. In all fairness, I have experienced nothing that I want to complain about, in this genuine family business. Their premises and vehicles are modest, and they share the savings customers. My personal experience tells me it's a win/win for you and Seawings.
