customer service is friendly but didn't get the point across correctly when is came to price. End up changing my flight because i thought it was cheap. Ended up almost costing as much as my original ticket. Tried to get it sorted with manager no help wouldn't let me change back to my previous flight. would only let me cancel the hole trip to get my money back. ended up paying double for one flight. Westjet says they make changing flights easy, yeah if you got a bunch of money to spare.

We used West Jet cargo to transport our two dogs from Victoria to Hamilton. They were awesome, very friendly, helpful and informative. We were also able to visit our dogs at the layover in Calgary. All in all they took great care of our dogs and we would definitely use them again.

Westjet was my first choice for years to fly with..........but the last few flights ( as I travel Canada often with work) have been terrible. The service agents are grumpy and not helpful, flight attendance don't really seem to care if customers are looked after or happy, there is no in flight entertainment, all the good humour seems to be lost. I think this is very sad as it was a great Canadian Airline that seems to me has lost all its luster and caring personality.

WestJet completely ruined our trip. My family arrived early for our flight and were checked in and waiting to board in restaurant area inside security. It was very busy so we were delayed paying bill. We went to board 20 min prior to takeoff and were not allowed to board because they said it was too late. We did not hear anyone call us. We had use our trip spending money and borrow money to pay $2400 for 3 new tickets ($900 more than the original ticket price) so we to could make our connection. This was just a cash grab because we hadn’t purchased insurance. Then on the way home we had a 5 hr delay. They told us it was because a coffee maker overflowed and flooded the plane. A new plane had to be brought in 5 hrs later. We then couldn't make our connection so had to find new flights. This resulted in an additional 5 hours of waiting. We got home 10 hrs late. This has been such a terrible experience, start to finish. Our family holiday was completely ruined and were still paying for it. We never received any reply from WestJet or any compensation for any of these issues.

I will never never never book with this airline again. They changed my father in laws flight 8 times, which included 2 changes in the last hours before he was due to leave. This caused him to miss a connection and have to stay in the airport all night with no luggage. The customer support is the worst completely non existent. I am shocked that they can get away with such treatment.

After 23 minutes on hold, I was disconnected. I called back and after 26 minutes of waiting got to speak to a representative that aided me in booking a return flight. Wanting to add my dog, which WestJet considers to be a family member, she put me on hold for several minutes then returns to our call to tell me she will be transferred me to someone who can assist me in adding my boy to my flight. I wait on hold for my second representative who then tells me she transferred me to the wrong department. I wait on hold again and speak to my third representative who tells me she is unable to book my dog and will transfer me to someone who can. Waiting on hold AGAIN I realize this second "call" has already taken up 1h20m37s of my time so I hang up. ONE HOUR AND 44 MINUTES, 4 REPRESENTATIVES AND NOOO RESOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ......

I had the ABSOLUTE worst travel experience with WestJet and will NEVER be booking with them again nor will I recommend anyone else. My first flight was delayed by over 3.5 hours, the staff didn't give any reasoning or notice and only told us minutes before the flight was supposed to depart. No compensation for that whatsoever. They cancelled my returning flights multiple times, had me on hold for 6 hours before the call ended abruptly. I had to call again and was on hold for 14 HOURS. FOURTEEN. The caller said this was a new wait time record for her. Absolutely disgusting customer service, I have no idea how this airline is still in business. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Stay away from this nightmare of an airline and save yourself a lot of money and stress.

charged me twice for dog to Calgary to Victoria and won’t give me back my money most expensive flight for a pup 1050$. Was supposed to be 350 lol. Be careful when you give them your credit card info. I have called 5 times they keep saying they will fix it but nothing comes threw 45 days of hearing that.
