★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely disgraceful. We put a parcel together to send to my mother in Washington. We called Fed Ex first to make sure we could ship the items. Then brought it in. Declared the items in office, paid to send. We were told 2 days. A week later we found out it was denied and sent back. We called every agency (they were all blaming eachother) and everyone said it could be shipped and they didn't understand. Finally we were called by someone at FedEx head office and told to bring it back and have it shipped air express NO CHARGE and if they said no, to have them call him. We brought it back to the office and were refused the no charge and they refused to call the number we were given. My mother is unable to visit due to covid and we were trying to send her things she loved for her birthday. Now she gets nothing because this company can't get it together. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
Also they broke what was in there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff and customer service are really pleasant and nice and answer your questions, however, the answers are misleading, untruthful, or information never gets passed on.
I have had several problems with FedEx, the company, over many years. I have had to deal with them luckily only a few times due to companies that only use FedEx as their shipping service but every time it is a negative experience.
I never have issues with DHL, UPS, or Amazon Couriers. Canada Post only had issues when I have shipped packages that left the country and were stolen in those countries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid an extra $55 on top of my original shipping to have it delivered in 2 days, they didn't deliver it and said I could pick it up on Saturday, they are closed on Saturday. I needed that package on Thursday and now I have to wait until Monday. Never using Fedex again for anything, they are the worst and just cost me hundreds of dollars.

Even when provided with buzzer no. They just leave the door tag instead of dialing the buzzer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in this week to return some packages to a company who did not provide me the correct shipping labels. I went into FedEx already frustrated due to the inconvenience of the return and the trouble I had reaching someone at the company. At FedEx, Kieran went above and beyond to help me get my packages sent off. He had all kinds of creative solutions and was so patient and friendly - he even had a treat for my dog. It was because of his fantastic service that I was able to complete my return and I left FedEx in a much better mood than I’d been in when I arrived. I am so thankful for the time and energy that Kieran put into ensuring that I didn’t have to lug all those boxes home with me. I wish I could give the FedEx Sidney Ship Centre more than five stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff member assisting me was great. He actually looked through a pile of free boxes for me to use, but none were appropriate. With this extra effort on his part, I was happy to buy a box to ship my items. It was nice to see a happy, helpful staff member going the extra mile for a customer at this busy time of year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely helpful staff for someone, like me, who rarely ships anything across the border. They helped explain how to find the HS Commodity Codes (which I did later). They asked me a bunch of questions and then prepared the shipping labels, and they even helped me reinforce my packaging job.
I am very picky when it comes to customer service, but I'll go out of my way to acknowledge those who provide it. Kudos to Steffi and Kieran on a job well done!
