If you’re thinking of purchasing a Honda may I suggest visiting Richmond Honda located at the Richmond Auto Mall. This is my second vehicle purchased at the same dealership in the last 4 years and both times I have had a pleasant experience. Prompt and thorough is what I get from the service department. A no nonsense sales advice without the sales pressure or the usual β€œI am trying to make my quota” deal. Past experience taught me well and a good salesman will listen to you, take into account if you have a budget, and help you get the deal you need. Yes, at Richmond Honda I found just the salesman (ask for Alex Yang). Remember, these guys are already selling a vehicle that has a good reputation (Honda). If you don’t want β€œB.S.” while shopping for a car try Richmond Honda. I hate pushy salesmen, salesmen who treats women like they don’t know anything about cars, and haggling for the best price while staying within your budget. My sales guy at Richmond Honda was very transparent with me from the beginning. Nope this review is not a result of a discount from the dealership although that would have been nice. It was just good old fashion customer service. Thanks, Richmond Honda until next time.

Used online trade in appraisal tool on their website to make my decision to make a 1.5hr drive to see if I could make a deal on a new vehicle. I know the tool is an estimate, I expected it to possibly be 3 to 4 thousand dollars high. When it came time to look at what they appraised it at I was shocked to see it was 18 thousand below their online estimator. I showed the salesman the tool on their website and he was shocked as well but didnt offer any solution. They are using it as a tool to lure you in and then low ball you. Lots of honda dealers out there, I recommend you go to a different one.

On March 16 2022 afternoon, we called one of the salesman at Honda Richmond Open road . He said we could have our car arrived on 1st April, so we made $500 deposit for the car for that specific day. However, after one hour of paying deposit , he called us and told us there would be no car on that day we settled, and we needed to wait couple more weeks for another car to arrive, but we didn’t want that so we requested refund for the deposit. But The sales told us he had no authority to do that and asked us to call manager by ourselves. I don’t understand why we needed to call the manager to resolve the problem that was not caused by us originally. We called the dealership manager phone line couple times on 17th March, but had no luck. I hope someone could be responsible enough to solve this issue. I already sent email to sales Honda hope customer service will help.

May 23, 2022 I called to see if they had any openings for a reservation for a new civic type R. The receptionist didn’t even know where the civic type R was. And the sales guy Leo told me that priority is going to people with trade-ins. So even if I put my deposit down they’re not guaranteeing me a car unless i have a trade

I am very disappointed. I bought my car last year July 2021 and 6 months later brought it for oil change and inspection to find out that I need to replace my tires. The report they gave to me when they sold the car they told me the tires have 70% thread and now I have to spend more money as I found out that it almost bold. I contacted my sales agent explained him and asked him to look into this because this is poor service only to tell me that I should go ahead and write a negative review maybe than they will look into. I don’t like to give negative reviews and I like to give a chance to the company to write their wrongs but seems they don’t really care. This is a very poor customer service.

Best Customer Service Ever from this DealerShip Ask For Kaleem Bashir , Best Rep Ever, He helped us to chose best car with our budget. I’m gonna call this guy Amazing Jack! He was so patient with us and very knowledgeable with his product. He is my Honda guy! Amazing Jack is highly recommended in Richmond Honda! We also left something in the store but he drove and bring it to us! Also his team did their best so we can get the car ASAP which saves us a lot of time. So shout out to Sophia (front desk) and Mike of finance.
