About Man of Distinction
Man of Distinction is the first of the Mens stores for owner Kristin Halpape - following in the distinguished footsteps of two successful ladies consignment stores. The first of the two stores launched in Okotoks, AB in 2005 - Rhoda's Elegance...Again. The second opened its doors in 2012 in the spot Man of Distinction Calgary resides today. After an opportunity to expand the woman's store, Expressions Ladies Consignment moved just a few doors down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband loves shopping here - lots of variety at great prices. You probably won't make a ton of money by consigning (because re-sale prices are so fair), but it's a great way to get rid of anything you don't wear anymore. It's nice that your cash never expires.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop has become a regular place for me to frequent. Lots of new articles being put out daily. Honestly, I can't recommend this store enough. Designer brand clothing for a very reasonable price makes it a must. Lastly, the people who run it are lovely.

The selection of high end, quality products is not only amazing but very reasonably priced. The lay out makes finding treasures both easy and appealing to the eye! The consignment offer is typical of most consignment stores but with the amazing items available you'll likely put your earnings right back into new to you clothes, shoes and accessories!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in one day, looking for cheap shoes to wear when mowing my lawn. Found a nice pair for $20. Wore them once and loved how comfortable they were. Then I started wearing them to work. Then I went back to the store and got a couple more items. Then I changed my mindset from “If it’s not brand new, I don’t want it.” I am always amazed at the wide selection of footwear and clothing. They are very selective with what they take. High quality and no or low wear and tear. Having switched to consignment shopping almost completely I am now able to afford brands I normally would not be able to: AG Jeans, Canali, John Varvatos, Kühl, The North Face, Volcom, Boss, lululemon, Guess, Eddie Bauer, Steve Madden (shoes), Brooks Brothers, Spyder (ski pants), Keen (hiking boots), Banana Republic and others. The prices are reasonable and there’s lots of merchandise turnover which is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Consignment is the way to go to and has a lower environmental impact than buying new. Be a non-conformist, dress well.
