★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son bought a white hoodie and a red sweatshirt from the store at South centre Mall a month ago. He being a teenager who has no clue about laundry ,put both these items in his general load of laundry. His white hoodie turned pink and the white lettering on his red sweatshirt also turned pink. He was devastated as, he had worn them both only once, and he had bought both items with his hard earned money. He tried contacting online support and they said they couldn't do much except give him 15% off of his next purchase. He still wanted to try the store to see if they could help. Not only were they like 'No way, don't you know that you can't wash white with other colors, (which I agree is true), she was so condescending and said 'it would be a life lesson'. Till then I was ok with whatever she said, but her words and tone were just too much. We just walked out as we didn't want to stoop to her level. So my son who wears mostly American Eagle has lost faith in the brand, and there is no way we are going back to that store. So people out there, if you want to spend that much money on stuff that runs colour , please at least stay away from the one in South Centre Mall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor experience with this store. Receipts are kept on file yet each time i go there they argue that i need to being a receipt to the store to price correct an item. Stores MOD was VERY rude, didnt let me speak or explain that the SAME thing happened last week and we didnt have this big of an issue. She quickly said "next time bring in the receipt then" and walked away. Poor customer service from her. Poor employee felt bad for us, if you're going to keep receipts in the system then have a damn use for them. Why would i carry a receipt around from 2 weeks ago for an item i bought?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jean colours months later are somehow bleeding out ! Like I sit down on anything damp and it turns it all blue. Jeans seemed almost used / weren’t consistent between the same Jean. Not the same quality as the ones I bought years ago they seemed to last vs these ones I just bought a month ago all wearing out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a person with long legs American Eagle is one of the only places I shop for pants because they have some that are actually long enough for my legs. I love that if they don't have my choice of pants in long in the store I can just show the cashier the pants I want and they will order the right ones for me and then it gets shipped right to my house!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a terrible experience recently with a girl named Taylee (unsure if my spelling is correct), I believe she is one of the managers, but you wouldn't guess that from the way she sits at the cashier area looking on her phone instead of talking to customers. I had to approach her to get the help I needed, and when I did, she came across passive aggressive and rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A few days ago me and my daughter had a wonderful experience shopping at this store. This wonderful employee named Tay was very helpful in finding my daughter the perfect set of shorts. She was just so lovely and made our visit to the store that much better!
