Calgary’s Dental Care - Calgary

I’ve been to several dentists over the years and this is the first time I’m actually writing a review about one! This was my first time at Calgary’s Dental Care and I had an awesome experience! The Doctor asked me before my cleaning if there was anything I wanted to discuss and then checked in on me twice more to see if everything was fine. The Dental Hygienist was amazing and I’ll be asking for her on my next cleaning! I highly recommend you check this place out! Oh, and one last thing. I assumed I would have to pay something extra over my plan coverage (I always have), but because they follow the fee guideline, I walked out of there with my money still in my wallet!!

Went in for a bad tooth which I want pulled when a different dental office refused and pushed a root canal. Not only was I made to feel like my opinion (and financial decisions) mattered at Calgary's Dental Care, but I also have a plan to get my other teeth in good shape. I was so anxious before and during my appointment, but I'm actually a little excited to go back and get all my work done. I put it off for so many years after bad experience elsewhere.

Been going there since 2021 such a great professional team. Receptionist is really friendly and truly makes my visits there awesome.

I have been a patient with Calgary Dental Centre (17th Ave Dental Centre) for 40 years. I am truly appreciative of all the care and service I have received throughout the years. Doctor Assaria and all the staff have been extremely kind and accommodating. Thank you for your good care.

I have been going to the 17th Ave location for a few years now and recently started coming to this location. Dr. Asaria and his team at both locations are wonderful. They are always able to accommodate me and Dr. Asaria is very kind and is happy to explain things. I have never had any issues and would happily recommend this dental practice.

I have been going to this clinic for a few years now. My sister and I both have. They follow the fee guidelines and after our insurance coverage I have never once had to pay a copay amount. They also direct bill for added convenience. The staff is always very friendly and always remembers who you are. They always ask how my little old dog is and how my parents are doing by name. I have never had to sit and wait in the waiting room forever. They are very organized with their scheduling and usually I am brought back within 5 to 10 minutes of arrival.Dr Asaria is the most efficient and confident dentist I have every been to. I have never had a root canal done so quickly and painlessly until going here and if you are covered for root canals but aren't covered for crowns or other things he does everything he can to protect the tooth he did the root canal on with added bonding. He is very thorough and clearly explains what needs to be done for my teeth and why. He also takes the time to write letters on my behalf to my insurance for things like crowns and mouthguards which my plan normally won't cover and thanks to his efforts my sister and I both have nightguards now which he helped obtain 100 percent coverage for. In an Alberta market where dentistry has become an unregulated cash grab Dr Asaria never makes it about that. He is also very up to date on the political climate that changes what the government will cover and what they won't so that if something changes to my benefit I can take advantage of it before politics affect coverages again. He works within the limits I have financially and does the best job possible. My sister and I have no intentions of ever going elsewhere. I would recommend, and have recommended, Calgary Dental Care to others without hesitation.

I have been going to 17 avenue Dental Center for many years now and the dentist, dental aids, and especially Miss Suzette are just amazing and caring people. Suzette takes great care of you and assures that whatever it is your going to have done will get done and in a timely manner. I have had a couple of emergencies where I was in pain and I was taken care of that day or the next. Even during the pandemic, I had a tooth ache and the dentist got me in to another place where I had a tooth removed. (I just wanted it gone) the next day! The dentist explains all that he will do while in the dentist chair, and he will do all he can to save your teeth. Highly recommended. :)

Calgary's Dental Care was a new dentist for me and the whole experience was really great from start to finish. - easy to contact and set up an initial appointment - all the staff were friendly and frequently checked with me to make sure I was feeling alright, not feeling anything uncomfortable - honestly had no idea the cleaning part of things could be so gentle and still be thorough (my previous hygienist could definitely take some lessons from Tasha, the hygienist here) - the dentist clearly explained anything that needed review - they managed to fit in a repair for a chipped tooth rather than have me reschedule and come back just for that - very grateful - after the check up, I emailed a few questions to them and Nicole, who works at the front, responded the same day or within 24 hours to send me the info I needed. - very happy to have found this dentist!
