About Symmetry Dental
Dr. Nicole Thomson was born in Calgary but moved to Pittsburgh, PA at a young age. She eventually moved back to Calgary in high school. After high school, Dr. Thomson received a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMSc) at Western University. She then went on to earn her dental degree from the Schulich School of Dentistry at Western University in London, Ontario.
While in school, she participated in multiple clubs and helped run the DOCS Kids program, which provides oral health care education sessions for kids and parents in the communities around London.
After spending eight years in Ontario for school, Dr. Thomson once again returned to Calgary to practice dentistry. She expresses a passion for multiple areas of dentistry, with a strong foundation in general dentistry. Dr. Thomson strives to help all of her patients feel comfortable and believes that strong communication is essential for proper dental care.
In her free time, Dr. Thomson loves spending time outdoors and traveling. She participated in two outreach trips to India and Thailand. In 2017, she got married and spent the first four months of her marriage trekking through the Himalayas in India and Nepal. She enjoys hiking, skiing, golf, and yoga.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m not sure I would usually use the words amazing about a dentist. But I’m about to. Everyone at Symmetry Dental is AMAZING! EVERYONE! They make you feel like family. At this dentist I feel important, cared for, and like I’m getting the best dentist care in the world. I didn’t expect to write something like this in regards to a dentist and the staff, but it’s so true. I would say they’re the best of the best and I’m thankful to have found them.

My hygienist Sarah, went the extra mile to ensure my visit was not only effective with the cleaning but also proactive in offering beneficial information on my dental hygiene going forward. She also gave me a list of questions to ask my insurance company to ensure I get the most out of my benefits.
Dr Perry was also very friendly and thorough. She gave me my last filling, and was excellent! A perfectionist! Which is so important when we’re talking about our teeth! I always feel very comfortable and confident with my treatments and it is very much appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone at Symmetry Dental is absolutely amazing!! When you first come in you are greeted by the kindest receptionists you'll ever meet, they always make me feel so welcomed. I wish I could give this dental office a thousand stars!
I suffered from dental phobia which always made me so reluctant to go see the dentist. I can now happily say that those days are behind me after coming to Symmetry and meeting Dr. Adatia. She is by far the best/kindest dentist I have ever met. She is so gentle and made me feel so at ease while getting my dental work done. Thank you so much Dr. Adatia and your amazing team for the above and beyond care I'm given every time I come in.
If anyone is looking for a new dental office I highly recommend coming here!

I had some time limitations on my recent appointment and the hygienist was amazing at time keeping which allowed me to get to where I needed to be after the appointment - so grateful for this!
I'm very happy to recommend this practice to anyone looking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing friendly team, fast service, gentle hygienists and knowledgeable dentists. I got an oral appliance made here for sleep apnea as well as regular intake and cleaning and no complaints on anything I've seen so far. Clean, bright office and good service throughout.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Who wants to go to the dentist? No one! But when you are trying to decide which dentist looks the least scary then I suggest you come here.
Everyone I interacted with at Symmetry was kind, caring, fun and amazing. I didn't just come in for a clean either, I had a ton of work done by Dr Thompson because of too many years of not going to the dentist. She approached my hole filled mouth with compassion and understanding. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment and you can expect the whole experience to be awesome.
