Willow Park Medical Clinic,Southcourt Building - Calgary

DON'T GO TO THIS OFFICE! I wouldn't recommend this office to ANYONE! I only went to this practice to get a requisition for my regular blook work for my thyroid levels and the location was beside my work, making it convenient for a lunch visit. My first visit, the Doctor came into the room, sat in her chair at her computer started clicking on her mouse and asked me what is the problem? She never made eye contact, introduced herself or the decency of a hand shake. After her sitting at her computer asking for my health card she just sat looking at my records for what felt like 5 mins of silence then asking the odd question of when and what..... The whole sit-down visit took about 7- 10 mins and the whole time she keep her eyes on her computer. I have no idea what she really looks like nor her name but, I have a good idea of her side profile! I was asked to have a sit on the exam table, which I felt very uncomfortable about as there was the impression of another person, at least she took notice of my body language and after a moment of me standing there she then suggested to change the cover. After my blood work and ultrasound I recieved a call from the receptionist, in fact it was the same day.... My words were "wow, I only had my work up today" she booked me for follow-up​, that afternoon. Then with 15 mins she called back to ask me to come in earlier.... I agreed to come in sooner. When I get there, the receptionist escorted me straight to the exam room no waiting. The Dr. Was already at her computer, face on the screen "what can I do for you today"? REALLY, your office called me! She clicked on the mouse looking for the results and all was good, then said the rest of the labs would be a couple more days..... (in my head).... WHAT!!! I did say to the Dr. "Why would you call me for a good report before my ultrasound​ results"? Why not wait to do both reports in one day?!?!?! After being there for two minutes I stood up and commented "you should have waited on all reports before calling me, especially if normal results, so we could have visited on everything". Unfortunitly a couple of things come to mind, 1. She had a cancellation, which I'm not surprised. 2. Her day wasn't booked and need to have something to bill for. I have yet to do the next follow up for my ultrasound with her but I'm looking to see if I can have the results sent to another Dr. Who can go over that with me, with someone who will give eye contact and proper communication. This Dr. Again is not someone I would recommend! I STRONGLY suggest to everyone...Find another office!

Cannot speak on behalf of the negative comments placed by other patients, but after having seen two other family doctors in the last 9 years in Calgary, Dr. Saddique has been very patient with me, answering all my questions, having no problem in giving me needed referrals, prescriptions, and examination when needed. Her assistant Angeline, is very efficient and accommodating, giving meeting times at a very short notice!

I dont know whats up with the bad reviews, but Dr S was superb. She looks at the computer screen, because its connected through care connect( which has all your medical history). She goes through it thoroughly, and asks questions to see where you are at and if she needs to do anything more. She was very polite and understanding of my concerns and hopes in a dr. I am super happy I found her for myself and family :)

I completely disagree with the previous review. My first 3 visits were with different doctors everytime. I was dealing with a very serious health issue and everytime I came to my appt I was rushed and I felt I wasn't making any progress as I was seen by a new doctor every time who knew kothing about my situation. On the next 2 visits I was seen by the Doctor that runs the practice. He was rude, did not listen to me, wouldn't look at me and only responded with yeah yeah as if to shut me up. I understand that doctors have a full schedule and a lot of people to see in a day, but i have been very patient. After 5 visits i still felt very uncomfortable and like I was inconvenient. I have now found a new doctor, and she is wonderful. I will not waste anymore of my time with Willow Park Medical Clinic.

This clinic took over after my doctor retired. I had been seeing my previous doctor for over 5 year, following a motor vehicle accident. I came in for a prescription renewal, but Dr. S Siddique turned me away immediately because she didn't agree with my medication. She offered no alternatives or suggestions other than "you should find another clinic." I was shocked and a little offended how quickly I was turned away, without even getting a basic examination. She then told me I would have to pay $25.00 + .25 a page to transfer my file to another clinic. Let me stress how large a medical file can be after 5 years of treatments for a car accident... The situation was so awkward and off-putting that a lady and her daughter in the waiting room, who was looking for a new doctor, got up and left, saying she is going to look elsewhere. I DO NOT recommend this clinic. Not impressed at all with Dr. S Siddique. I would suggest finding another clinic where the doctor's name isn't written over White-Out on their cards...

After being sick for 8 years, dr. Siddique knew which tests to run to get answers. Within two visits of seeing her she had a diagnosis and got me in to see a specialist as soon as possible. My specialist was incredibly impressed and grateful that dr. Siddique had already ordered all prerequisite tests and fast tracked my treatment. She's an incredible doctor!!

I don't normally go out of my way to write a review but this was the worst experience I ever had. Dr. Siddique is so judgmental! She didn't explain much and made me feel so uncomfortable from the second I walked in followed by her 3 phone calls. If I'm giving antibiotics for something I expect the Dr. to explain the condition, side effects...I received a phone call 10 days later that I need to take more antibiotics ("I got a phone call from AHS and I need to give you more antibiotics"- that's what she said!) How did she know that the first pills didn't work If I didn't come for a follow-up? When I asked her if this is the treatment for what I have...her answer was yes (no further information). I never heard about AHS telling the doctor what meds to give the patient ?. I went the same day to see a different doctor cause I didn't feel comfortable with taking more and more pills. I was told that I was giving to wrong antibiotics the first time! to lie and tell me I need to take more medication cause she messed up the first time is unacceptable! Anyway don't go there and this will be reported!

In my very first visit for an ear flush , which I've had done many times with my previous Dr. with no problems, on this appointment a few months ago the way she was flushing out the ears actually hurt which has never happened before. Then a couple days later I got a call from AHS contact tracing saying I may have come in close contact with someone at the clinic who later tested positive for Covid. At the time of my appointment the only ones there were myself, reception and Dr. Siddique.
