Great place, the volunteers on a Wednesday evening are fantastic, will update with names soon! Always happy to help and figure out what you need. Had a manufacturers defect on a chain that I bought from them, no questions asked it was replaced. Will always return here first before anywhere else

Bright, comfortable space. Friendly volunteers. Lots of inexpensive used parts and the tool boards are fully stocked. What more could you want?

This is a great coworking space - the staff are helpful and focused on teaching you how to do the work yourself. I felt respected each time i went - and they generally have everything you might need - except nuts and bolts for bike racks but hey - they do amazing with what they have. The art by the first aid kit is by claydecay on ig :)

Just needed to tighten my rear derailleur cable with an Allen key I didn’t have and was turned away due to a minority-only event. The person I spoke with may not have been staff and I’m not trying to be passive aggressive or prejudice against minorities, all I wish to do is state my experience. As a result I am now embarkening on a three to five km walk with my bike late after work to the next area I might find another bike shop at this late of a evening. When I asked if I could merely use an Alan key to tighten my derailleur cable the person I spoke to outside the entranceway stated it was a trans-only repairing event and implied that I wouldn’t be able to get help from them as I would require “too much work to be done than we can help you with”. I asked again as all I needed was to tighten one cable and the person ask I come tomorrow instead. Perhaps a misunderstanding but I don’t think so. Super disappointed that this person I spoke to denied me help I thought anyone would want to extend to another person in need of help. Even if this person doesn’t work here I don’t see how the community which kickstand is a part of, and/or it’s customers/employees like this individual would consider them-self an inclusive or kind person while denying someone a basic courtesy or needed help.

A volunteer run bike repair space willing and able to help. It's not always a quick stop depending on how busy it is, but for me it's always filled with willing guidance. The concept and the space are great and I love supporting it. I hope Kickstand is around forever.

Bought a project bike from here back in January, and the team has been super helpful in the process of getting things sorted out with it. Really helpful staff, awesome prices on equipment, and an inviting atmosphere.

I brought my bike today (Wednesday) for fixing brakes. Dave was super helpful, he was not only help, but also explaine about problem of my bike. He found that my bike chains needed to change, he helped it too. I like the place concept, people are very friendly. They only charged me the cost of new chains. (About $45) plus I added tip to Dave. Super happy!! I will come back when my bike need to fix again.
