2	221 B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a sweater as a gift for a family member, but unfortunately, it was too small. When I went to return it, the cashier told me that she could only give me credit back because the item was on sale, despite the fact that I wasn't informed of this when purchasing the item, as it was a gift and I wouldn't have bought it if I knew I couldn't return the item. I'm a university student and don't have a lot of money, so I had no interest in store credit, as I rarely shop. When I told the cashier that I wasn't informed of not being able to return the item when I bought it, she completely ignored me, grabbed a store card and completed my return without saying a word! I would have just kept the sweater if I couldn't return it, but was completely ignored by the staff. By far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Do yourself a favour and avoid GAP. Paying a bit more for an item is worth not having to deal with their rude staff.

As far as I saw the clothes are still very plain in a way that you won't stand out and have anyone ask "what are you wearing?" but they are WAY too expensive! What happened here?? Is the company going under and they need to sell $60-$80 tshirts to recoup losses or has corporate greed simply destroyed a once pleasant shopping experience? Either way, I won't ever be back and I pray other shoppers have the sense to take this review into consideration before spending half a day's pay for average quality shirts and a pair of pants.

The staff member assisting me was fantastically friendly, patient, very helpful and knowledgeable. Although I usually find this chain to be a bit pricey; she did point out sale items for me and helped me find the best items to suit the required, very specific and uncommon style and fit needed. After having been through numerous stores in the mall where I received no sales help, this was the refreshing attitude and well-needed assistance I'd been unable to find elsewhere that day. I will shop there again because of the great customer service!

This guy works in the mall, buys a pair of pants, tells the GAP staff that he will wear them and bring them back AFTER he's done wearing them and then he gets mad when the GAP staff refuses to give him a refund for the WORN and USED pants? DUDE, GROW A BRAIN!! Who the heck would give a refund on worn pants?? THINK, MAN, THINK!!

I purchased an emergency pair of pants during my work shift in the mall because my pants I was wearing ripped, and the manager who rang me up on my new pants failed to inform me that I cannot return an item after its been worn. I mentioned to the cashier that this was a temporary pair of emergency pants, which I intended to bring back. I wore the trousers for 2 hours total, and brought them back to return them 4 days later only to have the exact same woman who rang me through tell me that I wasn’t allowed to do a return because I wore them. I’m extremely disappointed, as I would have thought that a return policy as strict as that would have been told to me while purchasing the item. The manager was also very rude when I asked for a price adjustment, as the pants were $20 cheaper online.

The other sales associates at this store are also extremely helpful. Would 100% recommend this location of The Gap to everyone!
