Aritzia - Edmonton

I am a person with a good sense of self and I don’t let a lot bother me. However, how I was treated at this store is inexcusable simply because if I experienced this then someone else like me with poorer self confidence probably has too. I don’t shop at Aritzia ever because most of the time nothing fits me. I bought one of their shackets in mid October and after I got home decided I did not want to keep it. Literally the next day I got sick and had Covid like symptoms so I was not legally allowed to enter the mall. I was not aware of the 10 day return period but even had I been aware of it I could not have gone to the store for those 10 days because of those symptoms. When I was well enough I went in to return the coat, explained what happened and was told there were no exceptions ever and that all I could get was store credit. They proceeded to pressure me to try on clothes I knew wouldn’t fit in the middle of the store to try and fix the fact I was out $200. It was a fairly humiliating experience to have these tiny girls try to convince me I could fit something in the store. They then told me my only option was to get a gift card to the store in which nothing fits me. Since that was my only option I did get the money refunded to a gift card. When I called their customer service line they said I should have called them in the store and because the money was already on a gift card there was nothing that could be done. How was I suppose to know that calling the customer service line in the middle of the store was an option? I don’t shop there ever and the employees never suggested it. I spoke to my small sized sister and she told me that she regularly gets exceptions to the 10 day return policy. This companies treatment of plus sized individuals is disgusting and unacceptable. Do better.

I love this store... 80 percent of my wardrobe is from Aritzia!!! Their products last incredibly long and are very cute and fashionable. The staff there is always so nice ,whenever I enter and always try to help me with the product I am looking for :)

Difficult to appreciate the service when I’m invited to a VIP sale and forced to place my small shoulder bag into a locker “as a service”. Where else in the world would you be forced to leave your valuables in an unsupervised area before trying on clothes plus I was asked to move against the wall to line up. The service was curt and not a service. I will spend my $elsewhere or online.

Not very LGBTQ friendly. I was left at by a employee when I said I was shopping for myself. I had a pleasant experience with two others who were very helpful and friendly. but The first lady laughing in my face really gave me a bad impression of this company

I love aritzia clothes, to me going to the store is always a pleasure. However, their employees at this specific location is AWFUL! Since you enter the store, you will sense that negativity in them. You will be looking around, and them just far away like gossiping giving at customers just glances and laughing, making you feel like indescribably uncomfortable that you ended up leaving. That's exactly what you will get, a heavy energy place, not like those welcoming places, just to name one in the same mall like "lululemon", you feel that empathy with employees besides friendly and helpful staff. At LULU, every penny spent is WORTH IT, leaving the store SATISFIED with your purchases. On the other hand, when going to aritzia i leave the store EMPTY HANDS due to THEIR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE with their "so called employees". I'd rather spend $ knowing that I gotten the best service ever than $$$$ with regrets and eye rolling from their employees. Do yourself a favor an go to shop at a different aritzia location.

I just bought a turtleneck today I asked one of the staff that 'is it ok to go in now', cause usually they do have assign sales associates in the fitting room to assist the customer, but their sales staff it seems like doesn't care, she keep on doing to organize the clothes even she saw have two people line up and to think nobody inside the dressing room. And, even the assign person on the till was a little bit rude..,I just asking an extra paper bag, but she staring a few seconds at me it looks like she disagree to give an extra, and I said 'that's fine' ...,and then she pushed it way my stuff that I bought didn't say anything. A few staff in Southgate-Aritzia looks need more training when it comes to their customer service. Unfriendly staff and poor service to be honest.

Clothes are of good quality but they need to hire better staff. Don’t get me wrong—I’m not generalizing all the girls working here but man, all the ones I’ve met so far have been.. cold and insincere. Mostly talked amongst themselves and everytime I interact with them they give this vibe that’s definitely off-putting. Like they’re better than me. It’s probably the illusion their outfits are giving them. I haven’t had any good experiences in this store, ever.

I love this place, they always have a very up-to-date and colourful collection. on top of that, their products last long like up to 4 and a half years!!! The girls that work there are very nice like the first thing whenever I come into the store they want to assist me and help me find what I’m looking for and ask if I need to change room.. I totally recommend shopping here
