★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered meals for 5 people through Skip the Dishes and the driver only delivered 2 of the 5 meals. The owner Rob and his manager Debbra were very gracious though and Debbra delivered the remaining meals to my house herself. The food was very delicious. We will eat there again, but we won't be using a delivery service. #boycottskipthedishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got the salmon and the fish portion was so small that I had over half a bowl of rice leftover. My salmon was also white and cooked so I'm not sure if my order was just taken wrong and I got a different fish or if its something with the marinade. Either way, I was expecting raw salmon and very disappointed. No point in going back to get it changed as I got it to-go. The flavour is good but the price for what you get can't really be justified.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food flavor is okay. Very little salmon (protein) in the bowl. You have 3 bites of salmon and it's gone. You are left with 3/4 of a bowl of rice for $14. Waste of money

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying Hula and ordered the Yuzu with tuna and very disappointed with it.
No more than 9 half inch cubes of tuna (some of the very fibrous and chewy variety to boot), literally two chunks of avocado and some scattered edamame were served along with way too much kale all drenched in an incredibly intense and overpowering "ginger sesame" sauce. It was far too salty and concentrated and so dominant in flavour that you could taste little else. Also the "sushi" rice was steaming hot and had little, if any, sushi-zu flavouring.
Rather poor value for the $15 odd expenditure.
I am not one for posting reviews frequently but my poor experience compelled me to provide a public notice of sorts to suggest avoiding ordering a poke bowl from Hula.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A penny-pinching operation. What you are going to be getting is a bowlful of steamed rice and chopped kale. There is also a generous amount of garnishes such as fried onions and cilantro. What it is missing, however, is what makes it poke: fish. The amount of fish is very small, and it gets totally lost in the files of rice and kale. "That's how we make it; If you don't like it, sir, you are welcome to go have your lunch someplace else." Fair enough, I don't like it, and I sure won't be coming there to eat anymore.
