never buy ticket from this compagnie, Covid19 prouve us haw poor they are they can refund ticket, bad customer service.

Missed flight due to extremely slow baggage handling at Pearson. Stuck without bags, I couldn't clear customs. I am unable to rebook as the promised Ethiopian airline representative has not materialized. hasnt shown up.

My best choice of airlines anytime anyday. I have been traveling on Ethiopian airlines 2013 and have no regrets at all. They have expert and experience pilot that makes you feel like no turbulence.

There are people over your counter who don't know that your passengers are customers. They literally scream at some passengers and I have seen that happen. Actually there are some kind ones too. But I'd still choose a zero star.

So, they "lost/misplaced" my inlaw's Departure Certificate (issued by the Canadian Govt) from Toronto to Lagos. The crew told him they would give him when he arrived at gate in Lagos only to receive all other documents entrusted to the airline's possession except the valuable departure certificate. Really? Why was the original packaging of those documents changed from a brown envelope to a white one? What happened to the documents between Addis Ababa and Lagos? Story!

My flight is scheduled in couple of weeks, my rating is for their phone customer service, si have a question regarding overlay and luggage. I have been holding for 45 minutes although I am No. 1 on the queue. I am still holding now and no answer, I literally memorize their phone message. I hope the actual trip may change my opinion.

Likely the worst airline ever. It's the lack of client service. They lost bags twice - once from YYZ to ADD and took 6 days to find it and deliver it to a wrong address in Cape Town. Then again, they lose 3 bags from CPT to ADD. Their smug, lying agents only exacerbate the problem by being uninformed, and not caring. They've heard it all before... Next time I'll pay more and fly through FRA or LHR. Cape Town manager, Hennrick, still has not returned an email - in fact, no one has from Ethiopian Air - weeks after the problem.

Could have given them no star if i could. 1. Booked a more expensive Flex ticket that should have allowed me to change my schedule with no penalties. However, when i tried to do this they said they would charge me US$300 for doing so. I ended up canceling the ticket and re-booking as this was cheaper than rescheduling. (The price for the rescheduled ticket they were offering over the phone was $500 more than what i could get on their website by booking myself). I would have ended up paying more than $1000 just to reschedule the flight through them although i had paid for a "Flex Ticket". 2. Booking early and selecting your seat doesn't count for much. On my return from ADD to YYZ the seating was reassigned and i ended up being assigned a seat at the tail of the aircraft although i had reserved a seat in row 16. I was literary sitting at the very back of the aircraft as my seat had been assigned to someone else and i couldn't do anything about it. The staff at Bole were rude and offered no explanation at all as to why i had been booted from my seat. They just said they had no control over it. WTF. I don't like seating at the back of the aircraft for personal reasons and always make sure to book early and select my seat (i even pay for this service on budget airlines) but had to endure the 17hr flight back to YYZ stuck back there. No apology, no explanation. The only reason i still fly with these guys is that they are the only direct flight to sub-Saharan Africa and also there is a direct connection to my home country from ADD. If i had another viable or faster choice i would never fly with them again. TIA.
