Let's start with the positive: the planes are modern and the flights are as comfortable as a flight can be. BUT... As a somewhat frequent traveler. I had my flight canceled multiple times and I get that there are constraints and considerations beyond the needs of one passenger but please... When you cancel my flight don't nickel and dime me on the re-booking. I didn't want nor asked to change so re-book my new date and don't charge me for that. I don't care that it's a more expensive time. First you screw with my plans that affect carefully planned multiple engagements and then you want me to pay more for that?? It's sheer nastiness!!

After 2 years of not traveling, last week I had to travel stopping at London, Amman, and Frankfort, using 4 airlines: American Airlines, British Airways, Lufthansa, and finally the miserable Air Canada coming home. Although, all airlines’ crews were adhering to the health recommendations and applying the required measure, seeking to keep everyone safe, Air Canada’s crew were the worst in treating their customers. In simple words, the crew was mistreating us as if we work for them instead of them serving us. One of them was screaming at us, caring about herself not us. Refusing to talk to us and serve us, loudly humiliating the passengers if they did anything that seems to her that is not acceptable. If I didn’t have experience with 3 other airlines days before, I would say this might be the new norm, but it isn’t. Don’t let Air Canada’s crew make you feel bad or indicate it is normal to mistreated you. No other reputable team/crew did that. If this crew member (and others) is so afraid of being sick (simply paranoid) why is she working? Stay home. I tell you the truth, I will never fly this airline anymore, wishing it will disappear soon.

The fact is no one told me that I could change an unused ticket credit to a non expiring flight voucher is dirty pool by Air Canada that they don’t tell their customers that type of pertinent info. And within that 24 month period COVID started. And your customer service follow up is way too slow. Since this is your decision I am going to be writing  a detailed review of my experience with Air Canada and also will not fly with you again and neither shall my colleagues. And what a lack of professionalism I send their customer service an email on March 17 and got my response April 19. What type of company is this?? Never again Air Canada!

The constant cancelling of non full flights makes it impossible to plan anything. I understand the pandemic has been rough on the industry but having 4 flights running and cancelling them all down to one for the short haul routes is not the way to deal with it. If they cared about people they would put their passenger's first. I'm 25k status and my service seems worse now then when I wasn't. The customer service has to be the absolute worst thing in the world. They aren't helpful, they are rude and they don't want to be helpful. There are some exceptions but very few.

I’ve had ups and downs with Air Canada over the years — but, with regard to my experience today, they get 5 stars. I was travelling with my mom and dad, and my dad is very frail and requires lots of help. Sharon and Irina at the check-in counter were INCREDIBLE! They bent over backwards to ensure my dad’s mobility bike was checked in okay — having to google all the specs for a bike they’ve never seen before — and even searched the Bahamas government website to ensure we had all the proper paperwork to gain entry. The people in security were helpful, the gentleman who drove the golf cart was lovely, and the woman who pushed my dad’s wheelchair was friendly and full of helpful information.

Air Canada use to be the gold standard not any more. All 4 flights I Had with them were delayed causing me to miss my contentions spend a night in the airport. staff made no effort To help me even though my connecting flights were also with Air Canada and one of the the delays was due to catering I was told. I would NOT recommend air Canada unless you really have no other options . If you do have to use them and have any connections make sure to give yourself at least an hour more than you think you will need because I can guarantee they will definitely be late.

I get that, often, our travels can come with challenges but usually these are the only people that post reviews! If you’re looking for more of the same… sorry in advance! I flew out of Pearson on AC and watched our Flight Attendant in action… When you can see someone smiling even when she is masked… her friendliness, positive body language, kind demeanour and how she said what it was she said… her professionalism - even to ensuring the presentation of each dinner tray was incredible for each flyer… and when, although 100% respectful of rules, she invited 2 young boys to speak to the Captain thru the cockpit door, before reaching their seats, and their ear-to-ear smiles when they were presented with their very own Air Canada ‘Wings’ pins… In a world that may never return to where we once were - it’s encouraging to know there are some people who are trying to make it a better place! As a flying customer, I have come to realize that my experiences on flights are only pleasant when I book business class. That’s the only reason I am giving 4 stars rather than 5. However, I have had many good experiences with this airline. The staff are friendly most of the time, and on my last flight the pilot got us home early. I don’t really have any complaints that would be in particular to Air Canada. I think their service is one of the best out of all other air lines.
