I started to use the self dog-wash service about three months ago. One a month I came to this location and wash my dog while one of my child is in the bath, helps me to wash my dog. So far, no complains, until today that one of the employees asked my kid not to go on the stairs, or inside the bath for insurance purposes. When I explained that we done it in the past the store manager claimed that she "told me last time that kids are not allowed in the bath, or the on stairs". NOT TRUE. I wouldn't go back there if I knew my child can't take an active part in the dog-wash. Look, I can understand and justify the new policy for insurance purposes (although no one referred me to any sign). What I can't understand, nor accept, is a lying manager. I took my business somewhere eles.

I'm glad they don't let people or kids! Stand on the stairs and in the bath! What if they fell down or slipped? Hurt themselves, or what if another dog tried to use the stairs and your kid was in the way? How awkward. I imagine the stairs are wet from all the dog baths and to let your kid in the bath with your dog? If you want to do that, do it at home. And as for signage? Who needs signage for common sense? Good gracious, the entitlement of people nowadays. I applaud the staff and manager at bosley's on Burnside for looking out for their customers. Not just for the baths, but I've been there many times in a month and their on top of their masks wearing, for themselves and customers, their cleaning is top notch and they are so friendly, helping me find food for my very fussy dog and carrying my liter to my car! Wonderful store and a wide selection of products.

I used to use their dog washing station for convenience when it was difficult to get my dog into his regular groomer but I will never go back after my last visit. I know that my dog whines while I do this, so I called ahead of time to ask if it was ok. The lady on the phone assured me that It was no problem and that dogs whine all the time. I brought my dog in and asked again at the till before I paid if it’s still ok. She assured me that he would not be the worst whiner of the day, and that they had a loud husky in earlier. I began washing my dog and within 5 minutes I could hear someone sternly raising their voice behind me asking when I’d be done. I turned around and was mortified to see the entire store staring at this person who was questioning me. She again said β€œwhen are you gonna be done, your upsetting my dogs. You need to finish now.” only to storm off once I said I wasn’t sure. The customers beside me came up to me to tell me not to worry about her and that my dogs whining wasn’t bad. The people washing their dog beside me also said not to worry about her. I think everyone could feel the horror and embarrassment I was feeling having bosleys store groomer raising her voice at me to leave. I quickly left and asked the cashier I originally spoke with who that woman was and why she told me it was ok to bring my dog in, when clearly it wasn’t. I saw her watch the entire ordeal, but she pretended like she didn’t know what I was talking about. I cried in my car with my still wet dog on my lap. Regardless of how mortifying that was, I’m glad I did the self wash as a pose to bringing my dog to that woman, because I cant imagine how she treats a dog who doesn’t like to be washed.

Absolutely terrible. My wife and I went into this location today to buy se special food for our sick cat. Both of us were followed the minute we got into the store. We weren't offered any help even though we needed it. No. Instead they looked at us and spoke to us like we were going to rob them. They made us feel terrible.
