Best place to visit after or before having look around Butchard garden.
Enough parking space.
Deep fried prawn highly recommended ! ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have eaten here 3 different times now and sadly I won’t be ordering again. Wait times are outrageous and even if you do come when your told too, you’ll be shooed away. Never waited so long for sushi before… over an hour and a half each time I order, at minimum. Never appears to be busy. Very expensive sushi for such mediocre flavours and the portions are awful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to get sushi a couple nights ago and we were told it would take an hour and a half… upon arriving 6 minutes early we were treated rudely and told to come back in 6 minutes and the food wasn’t ready yet. When we came back, they were microwaving our chicken for the teriyaki chicken roll we ordered…… When we actually got our meal, the portions were extremely small for more than $50. I’ve ordered more sushi than that at other places and only ended up paying around $30 for probably double the amount of sushi. We just wanted to support a local small business but we absolutely will not be back. Not worth the money, being treated badly, and getting overpriced MICROWAVED sushi…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great, charming little sushi place. They do not have a wide variety of hot foods but the sushi is delicious. Try the mango roll for something different! It’s my fave. They always have friendly service, peaceful piano music and a self-serve urn of complimentary hot tea in the corner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THEIR MENU IS IN THE PHOTOS IN ENGLISH. Fantastic food. Happy to finally have a Japanese food option in Brentwood Bay. They are friendly and accommodating when I explained a food allergy. Prepared my food perfectly. The gyozas are so good, sushi is top notch. Can't wait to eat there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best sushi I've had in Victoria, perfectly crafted every time. I keep meaning to take a photo of my orders but find myself eating it before remembering to.
They are a small operation, just the couple running the place to my knowledge. That means during peak times there is often a bit of a wait, but it is always worth it. They make your food when you order it, not hours beforehand. Plan accordingly, you can't have the quality and care of a small shop as well as the consistent immediacy of a chain restaurant.
