★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great selection of food items but if your charging $7.95 for a bowl of soup at least fill it up. Tasty soup but disappointing serving. This what it looked like when I opened it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Cafe in the heart of Brentwood. Very Covid friendly set up. Had the Veggie Panini and Peppermint Tea Misto. It was all delicious. Nice set up with Cobble Hill puzzles for sale and a full bookshelf near the fireplace. Come and try them out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Espresso was not to my tastes. It is a very tart, fairly sweet, light roast with a strong aftertaste. That is some people's cup of Joe, apparently, but not mine. I prefer a dark espresso.
We found the staff was not very personable, and when I requested extra ice for my iced espresso, that basically came Luke warm with a few sad cubes left in a third full cup, they grudgingly tossed minimum additional amount that barely made a difference (other than to make me feel I had burdened them terribly ??)
Friends had a mediocre breakfast and didn't really enjoy the brewed coffee either. Perhaps we got them on a bad day? ?
Having come from the ferry for a day trip, I doubt we would give it another go ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my fave coffee shop. Their Cuban sandwiches are amazing and their tea lattes are yummy. The staff and owners are wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great lunch place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice coffee shop, good staff, and decent selection. Specialty milkshakes will run you just under $10, though. Small shop and bookshop inside is a cute touch. It was cold sitting inside surprisingly. Parking lot available at side of the building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice cafe! Friendly and helpful staff, and a convenient location in Brentwood Bay. I felt very safe with their Covid regulations. There are distanced places to sit down, inside and outside. Lots of coffee, tea and milkshake options. The pulled pork cheese sandwich was delicious and served hot. Also recommend the breakfast bagels and paninis. What great comfort food!
