★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Twice, when my regular butcher has been closed I have been to Carnivore to purchase some beef.
Today, as with my previous attempt the customer service has been non existent. With two customers (including myself) and 4-5 staff behind the counter not one asked me if they could help. I attempted to ask one of the staff for help....but they were otherwise occupied. Never again. Fortunately Orrs offer an excellent alternative and are a superb local butchers and my regular store and so in future I'll time my purchases more correctly

This is remarkable service and commitment to their product.
Original:
I ordered two bone-in rib-eyes two inches thick for my wife’s birthday. Total was $113 ($29 per lb) and was quite disappointed that they were 2 inches at the bone and much thinner on back. Maximum bone minimum meat, and not going to give an even cook.
I didn’t get a good look in the store as the fellow held them face on through the cooler. I didn’t realize how sloppy the cutting was until I got home.
If I had the option I’d return them but with the pandemic we don’t want to go out for dinner and it is too late to source something else.
I will buy from them again but not without careful inspection.
