★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have pictures of food which they haven’t been serving for a year. The breakfast panini is not made from scratch and tastes mediocre. bacon and eggs were definitely cooked a long time ago. Dry and overpriced. I think the cook was handling cash with bare hands in between cooking at the kitchen and no hand washes. Coffee did not taste good either. The place is barely OK for a quick break. I would stop again if it was at a highway rest stop. Otherwise, sorry, not again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for a lunch break and made it in just before the lunch rush and ordered a grilled cheese to go and waited almost 25 minutes for a grilled cheese when probably 6 people who ordered after me got their food and drinks before me. I wanted to ask what was happening but I was trying to be patient but that was pretty ridiculous. The 2 stars were earned because the grilled cheese was good and staff was polite but I left rather annoyed. Was the first person to order in the lunch rush and the last person to get their order.
Edit: in response to owner, thank you for the response I appreciate it - I'll stop by for lunch again for the good customer service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this coffee shop too many times already, they had a very unpleasant lady before and now the owner got ride of her, which is good for all the customers who are coming to this place regularly! Love the coffee here and always busy during lunch time! Best fruit and organic yoghurt here! Love ❤️ the bagel with cream cheese ?! Very good chai tea latte! ❤️ very good location! 15 mins walk from Stelly’s secondary school and not far from Bayside middle school either!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, what a great coffee spot. The staff/owners are welcoming, friendly and super helpful with local info and tips. Had some excellent coffee and conversation here. We were lucky enough to stumble upon this place early in our 5 week trip to Vancouver Island and benefited from their information. Ended up being the best coffee of the entire trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great café at the heart of Brentwood Bay! We love the food, kind staff, and community art. Enjoyed some live music there last night along with wine and charcuterie. It's nice to hear that the owners are dedicated to giving back through a variety of humanitarian inititaves, both locally and globally. Feeling lucky to have a gathering place like this on the Saanich Peninsula.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place, my parents come every weekend. However the lack of recycling and composting is really distressing. Paper plates, disposable cups and forks; all straight into the trash. I understand its covid times still but at least provide a bin for the compost of uneaten food and recycling of paper plates. I'll happily change my review to 5 stars once this issue is remedied, which this place deserves if not for this garbage issue.
