The doctor was extremely kind, patient, and made me feel very comfortable. The staff were really helpful when I picked out my glasses. The optician was very patient with me when adjusting my glasses to make it the perfect fit. If you want a nice pair of glasses, highly recommend this place.

I've had really great experiences with this eye care center. Especially with Dr Li, she has been a meticulous and accommodating eye doctor and really went above and beyond when I had an eye infection. She was fantastic and was available for multiple check-ups and finding the best solution to getting rid of the scars on my eyes. I would definitely recommend them as they are knowledgeable, kind, and helpful!

Dr. Li Yi Li is very throughout and was able to find the cause of my eye issues even with the very subtle symptoms I reported. She took the time to explain me in detail what was going on and share the exam images with me. I would definitely come back and recommend her services to everyone. It is worth mentioning that the whole clinic staff was very kind and attentive.

Friendly staff and reliable services! Got some issues with my frame the other day and was able to get them fixed right away. Also had an eye exam here previously, which was thorough but also took much less time than I expected. Would definitely recommend!

Dr. Li was exceptionally meticulous and thorough in diagnosing my eye condition, which started with some nondescript symptoms. She patiently answered all my very many questions, and shared with me the detailed test results and photographs of my eye, and took the time to explain all these results and their implications. She also made several follow up appointments free of charge to check on the progress of the condition. She is very knowledgeable without being presumptuous, and clearly genuinely cares much more about patient well-being, rather than profit. I was referred to a specialist who remarked that I was very fortunate in having been diagnosed at such an early stage. This is thanks to Dr. Li's persistence in getting to the bottom of my symptoms, and not just dismissing my concerns out of hand, as some opticians might have done. I also purchased new glasses at the store, since my prescription had changed. They were happy to reuse my old frames so that I could save money, and did not pressure me at all to purchase more expensive higher index or coating options. The glasses were ready in a week. Many of the staff seem to be UBC students and are very friendly. The business also has good communication, such as appointment reminders or quick answers to queries, via text or email. They are part of UBC Studentcare's vision network, with preferred prices on eye exams and prescription eyeglasses for students. I have been to many opticians in my time, and Dr. Li is one of the best and most caring, and I would recommend her without reservation to anyone in the area looking for the best care for their eyes.

The staff were helpful and thoughtful, they appeared to care for my needs beyond the profit of the store. I came in with what I thought as permanently deformed frames and was looking for a new frame. The staff helped me with selections based on her primary measurements of my current lenses and took my budget into consideration, when none turned out to be working, she gave me the measurements of my lenses with which to search for frames elsewhere. When I thought I found a frame that may work, the optometrist took more considerations into account and decided not to fit the lenses to the new frame but instead repaired my current frame to a better fit. He didn’t charge me for his work as he said it’s still not a perfect fit due to the original cutting of the lenses and he doesn’t know how long the fit could last.

Had an eye check up and was very pleased with the thoroughness and level of care I received. Decided to get new glasses and the staff were very friendly and patient in helping me pick out new glasses. Will definitely be making this place my go-to for future eye check ups.

Dr. Li is excellent - she is attentive, patient, friendly and professional. We had eye exams done and purchased prescription eyeglasses there. my mom and I had a wonderful experience with the doctor and staff. My mom only speaks Mandarin Chinese, everyone there can speak Mandarin in addition to English, so it’s very helpful, and made the whole process and experience pleasant and seamless. Definitely recommend this place.
