P	Pinky 74 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this clinic a few times and the front desk staff is really unpleasant. I did not feel comfortable at all coming here. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but having a newborn and the last conversation I had with one of the receptionists over the phone just left an awful taste in my mouth. Forget trying to get through to anyone over the phone as well. Not to mention Dr. Lam advised me a 1 month check up for a newborn is not necessary and they would see me in 2 months for her shots. A one month check up is standard.

Doctor Lam is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable doctors I have come across, he is also willing to explain everything in stunning detail and to discuss issues compassionately. Sam at the front desk is awesome as well, she has always been exceedingly nice and always greets with a smile. I do see a lot of the bad reviews here and many could be because there was another person at the front desk in the past who was always nice to me but I have seen her being rude to other people, including the elderly which wasn't nice but I haven't seen her there in a while.
A	Angela Best on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After contacting and driving to a few walk-in clinics on the west end of Hamilton, this Ancaster location off Wilson St was the best service I received. The receptionist was so nice and welcoming. The wait was incredible, mind you I arrived 7:20 and was finished by 7:45 seen right away. The Dr was so thorough and nice. Thank you for making this experience so pleasant and comforting!! Definitely something other clinics can learn from.

Get there and they’re closed and have a sign saying they’re only taking phone appointments. Called back and the lady says they’re located in Oshawa?? Doesn’t add up at all. Either have a proper number to call or take actual walk-ins like you’re supposed to.

The front desk was pleasant, and the time between walking in the door and walking out the door after seeing the doctor was 10 minutes, maybe less. By far the shortest wait time that I've ever had at a walk in or hospital Update on the earlier post, Dr. Lam is now my family doctor and my toddler son's. He has been terrific on both fronts. It looks like most of the negative reviews are related to walk-ins so if you're looking for a family doctor I highly recommend. Dr. Lam has great bedside manner, he is very logical but puts things into terms that someone not in the medical industry can understand, he doesn't have the "I'm the doctor here" ego at all. So again, highly recommend. Also, it appears that their phone number forwards to an Oshawa clinic on the weekends with doctors on call for emergencies. I thought that might have meant that this clinic had closed but you get the right voicemail through the week.
m	matt johnson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Lam and his receptionist where fantastic! During this pandemic they are not doing walk ins but they unlike many other places, answered my phone call right away. The receptionist was very helpful in assessing what needed to be done and then got Dr. Lam to call me back within 30 minutes. The phone call with him was very detailed and informative and provided me with exactly what i needed. He emailed me an X-ray requisite and told me if I'm not feeling better to get an x-ray done and he will contact me with the results. Everything was handled within 45 mins. So happy with this medical process for a change.
