The clinic is conveniently located and wait time is less than half an hour. Doctor was able to take me in right away, and the pharmacy is next door. Overall, I will recommend everyone to visit this place when they are sick

Would rate 0 stars if I could. I called today around 11:30am explaining that I have all the symptoms of strep throat (fever, white spots on back of red inflamed throat, swollen lymphnodes) the receptionist cut me off and said that these are covid symptoms and the doctor will not see me with covid symptoms. I explained that I had taken 3 rapid tests over the past few days and that they were all negative. The receptionist replied that the tests aren't accurate and I need to go to the hospital and get a negative PCR. I challenged why this clinic would rather I sit in an overcrowded, covid infected hospital waiting room for up to 12 hours just to simply get a negative PCR to receive the necessary antibiotics I need for strep throat? Receptionist responded the dr will not even provide a phone consult with me because of my covid symptoms... I guess that covid travels through the phone these days, right? Went to the walk-in on Upper James at 1pm. Tested positive for strep throat immediately. I received my prescription in the pharmacy right beside the clinic and by 1:37pm I was home treating my infection. All of this context is to highlight how PATHETIC and BEYOND DISGUSTING our healthcare system has really become. Places like Mountain Medical Walk-In Clinic should be reported for ignoring their due diligence in providing our right to receiving healthcare. I know that I will personally be reporting them to the ministry and I encourage all others here with similar experiences to do the same. Enough is enough.

Terrible clinic that likes to change its "policies" every few weeks. Tried to get a neurological exam over concerning symptoms and was blasted a quick line refusing me medical treatment under their covid policy, of which I do not have. This clinic doesn't deserve to be open or run by this Doctor and should be shut down.

Was there today. Was a very quick visit. Reception was very nice and even gave me a bottle of water as I have been sick for a few days, but Dr hassan was the rudeness dr I have even been too. Even at one.point said " so what do you want to do I'm a busy person" the waiting room was empty as the clinic just opened.

April 22/2022: 10:30 am--I was told by the receptionist that the doctor who was in, refuses to see anyone with any ear issue as they believe it is linked to covid. (Not on the Ontario screener however). I explained that I have been struggling with vestibular neuritis/vertigo for about 8 weeks now, and am now feeling pain in my ear, making me believe the problem is getting worse/there could be an infection, especially since the associated dizziness had resurfaced. She explained to me that the doctor in for the weekend will not see anyone with any ear problem because of links to Covid. (apparently the doctor in that morning would have seen me, but they were booked up.). Despite being diagnosed with something different relating to my ear, despite being vaccinated and having recent negative Covid tests...still refusing. How are people supposed to get care/help when doctors refuse to see them even for the 2 seconds it would take to look in my ear, while wearing PPE???? Thankfully I found a wonderful doctor at a different walk- in who looked in my ear and prescribed antibiotics as needed. Imagine every doctor refused to see patients? I struggle to understand how this is allowed? Also...I would no longer call this a "walk in", as upon arrival the doors were locked. I looked in, and NO ONE was in the waiting room. I buzzed and the receptionist told me I had to call to book an appointment that afternoon. I called...about 7 times, it going directly to voicemail until someone answered and put me on hold. When my call was answered, I was told I could get an appointment about 4 hours later....but with it being a request to have my ears looked at, I was then told I would not be seen. Horrible experience.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I literally just walked out after the doctor got really angry at me for no reason. I told him if he can prescribe me tablets that I can crush for my UTI because I have trouble swallowing pills. He’s like listen a young 23 year old women should be able to swallow pills. I told him lots of people can’t swallow pills and he’s like no that’s not a valid statement. I said I’ve tried everything and I usually vomit. He was so rude about. I’ve never experienced such a thing before. Terrible doctor, I don’t know how he is even a doctor. Never coming here ever again

Tried going here three times in the past month. Twice for my son and once for myself. The first time, they saw my son no problem for an ear infection. I wanted to bring him back for a followup a week later as I thought the ear infection was still there. The receptionist told me he was 'too young' to be seen there and to go to McMaster instead. He was just at your clinic 2 weeks earlier! Today, I tried to go for myself as I thought I had an ear infection. I am also congested. When the receptionist asked if I had any symptoms, I said congestion but that my doctor had already seen me for it and said it was viral (not covid). She said that the doctor working today does not see any patient with covid-like symptoms. Since when can doctors select the type of patients they will treat? I thought they weren't allowed to deny patient care? Why are patients with minor illnesses being told to tie up hospital resources? No wonder their parking lot was empty. Also, their hours are not accurate on Google. If they don't have any patients, they close early --- and do not update their voicemail to reflect this. Overall, a horrible place that shouldn't even be open.

From the moment I stepped in the front door I felt comfortable. The receptionist was lovely as well as the nurse and Dr. Grandwilewski was the best doctor I have ever experienced! He has a great sense of humour, efficient yet not rushed...and very warm and friendly..everything a great doctor should be. I would not hesitate to return or to recommend! Thank you so much to all the staff of Mountain Medical... I had a great visit and truly felt so much better when I left. Stephani Bell-Mahon
