Suitsupply Nordstrom - Yorkdale

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I felt like not reviewing this experience would be a disservice. I was referred to Tommy at this location by a friend. There is no Suit Supply in my city; so I had to travel quite far for a suit. I was blown away by the superb client service and attention to detail provided by Tommy. This was during Covid-19, but Tommy was able to provide a very safe and assuring 1 on 1 session for my purchase. I asked Tommy how long he has been in this profession, and he mentioned that he has been a stylist for many wears catering to both formal and informal wear. His experience was clearly evident as he was fitting my suit and provided suggestions for alterations. I am beyond happy with my tailored suit and tailored service provided by Tommy. I will definitely be coming back for future purchases.

Recently went suit shopping at Suitsupply Yorkdale for an off the rack suit for my sister's wedding and a custom suit for my own wedding. This was all during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tommy helped me with both suits and I had an amazing experience choosing both suits as this was my first time suit shopping. His attention to detail, patience and style advice was very impressive. He made sure to keep me updated on the status of my both my suits throughout the process. Tommy exceeded my expectations and I can't recommend him enough! I will definitely go back to him to purchase my next suit. Thank you Tommy!!

Honestly, I have my mixed feeling about this location and Suitsupply. This was my first experience shopping with this company and at this location, I had high hopes and to an extent, they were met. The staff - Victoria and Tommy were great and very helpful. My trouble comes after my purchase. I had a few simple alterations that were needed for my suit, the associate had told me that it would take about 2 weeks to finish - which is fine. I had called a couple days in advance to double check the pickup date to which they told me it should be done on time - if not the evening before. Since that phone call I had not received any form of contact in over 2 weeks PAST the scheduled pickup date (1 month past the purchase date). I had contacted customer services twice, the second time of which they said they would contact Yorkdale Suitsupply who would give me an update by the end of the day - still nothing. Finally I was contacted via email that the alterations had been completed more than 2 weeks past the scheduled pickup date. I can understand that they may be behind due to Covid and an increased in orders but I was just very disappointed with the lack of communication between them and I. 2 weeks past the pick up date which was already 2 weeks after the date of purchase just seems a bit much especially after telling me it would be ready on time then leaving me in the dark if they were experiencing some difficulties or what not. Besides that, I am happy with my suit - the fit is great, nice details and something I am glad that I purchased. I just hope I don't experience something like this if I decide to shop here again in the future.

I came here to get a suit for my wedding. I had set an appointment and still had to wait over an hour. After everything was dealt with I was informed to ignore the emails and they would call me to let me know when the suit arrived. After waiting what felt like months, I checked my email to see the suit arrived two weeks prior, never got a phone call. I then set another appointment for the final fitting and the same thing happened. I showed up to my appointment just to wait for an available tailor. When I was finally served, the tailor did NOTHING to ensure a good fit. The pants are completely misfitting and I reached out to Suit Supply to schedule a tailoring and never received a response. I've since found a tailor elsewhere to finish the job. I don't want to name anyone specifically as I don't believe it was the tailor's fault but this was far from a premium service. The suit options are great. Experience was terrible.

Was shopping for a suit for my wedding and was helped by Tommy. He was amazing, made me feel very comfortable considering I don't know much about suits and he had a great understanding of all parts of the outfit. He listened very well to what we were looking for. We ended up going with his suggestion and it was perfect! The turnaround time for alterations was also super fast so we didn't have to stress about that either. 10/10 recommend going to see Tommy if you are looking for a great suit.

Walk in this suit-supply store to make adjustments on online purchased products, apparently the sale staff here are not interested to help you when this is not a “Sale Deal” for their sales target volume. I understand weekend will take a longer wait time, however staff keep sending me to different sales person and waste my time. It was a very simple tailor adjustments, measure it and get it done. But I’ve been waiting for over 30 mins and nobody take care the payment and tell me what is the next step. When they finish my measurement the sales person immediately serve another guy (they want buy suit from them) and no one help with payment and following steps. I’ve been to different suit-supply stores and this is absolutely the worst customer experience ever. When I looked at some previous review, people booked appointment and still wait for an hour, then I realize those new sales only care about their sales target no good custom service at all. Good luck to u guys meet your sales target, your store manager must be very proud for u guys

I had a wedding coming up and I was desperately in need of a suit. My friends recommended me to Suitsupply and I definitely had the best shopping experience of all time. Tommy took care of all my wants and needs from a full tailored suit to dress shoes and tie. I couldn’t ask for a better place to shop!?

I came here to get myself a wedding suit. A tailor named Tommy helped me out. It took around an hour and half in total to wrap things up. He went through the basics such as choosing the fabric all the way to measuring and customizing the suit, pants, vest, and shirt. No sense of condescension, all friendly vibes. I tried on a bunch if suit jackets and other apparels. In the end, I made a custom suit purchase, and the price is quite reasonable. Also, their website has nice features so you can have an approximate idea of what you want before going to the store. I would definitely come back to this place in the future if I need another custom suit. PS. Make a reservation if you need measurements.
