★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there just today to buy a pair of shoes that caught my eye. A floor worker named Edwin really helped me out while also taking care of three other customers. He brought me all the sizes that I requested and when I was undecided between them, he gave me specific details on the shoe's appropriate fit to help me decide.
Most workers I've seen, during a busy time, often leave you alone after doing the bare minimal of getting you the size you needed. Edwin, however, checked back with me with relevant advice in-between helping other customers. And all of this with a friendly attitude and a smile indicative of taking joy in helping match the proper products with the proper people.
Big credits to him. I wouldn't have bought the shoes I did and would've browsed other stores first if it weren't for Edwin's great service.
By the way, the shoes are great. It has a clean, modern design and is a joy to walk in. I've walked around in it quite a bit after buying it and didn't feel the tedious overheating of those shoes without a woven design. The price point was also very reasonable. I've seen competing shoes reach prices of $125 or more with similar designs. I got my kicks for a decent $95.
To brief, I am one happy customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They NEVER have any of the sizes that we ask for; this has been ongoing for more than a year. Their prices are way higher than Soft Moc as well. I don’t understand how they stay in business. Why bother with a stand alone store?

I was just looking for nice pair of work shoes. I trust skechers for most of my shoes but I wanted expert advice, Michelle helped me with this beautiful pair of shoes which I can use at work and for normal outdoor walks with my buds.

It Helps a lot when they have sales, I buy a few pairs they can be such a good deal. not to forget the staff, they're super nice and manger there so nice. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually write short reviews but I'm so pleased with the customer service so I'm writing a long review.
There are two types of sales persons a) push sellers and b) pull sellers.
Push sellers convince the customers to purchase an item while pull sellers probes the needs of the customer, then educates the customer. Push sellers gets gains faster but exhausts less effort versus pull sellers who exhaust more effort but can get gains passively.
While inside the Skechers store inside Richmond Center(store 272),I encountered a personnel who a) asked for my intended use of the shoe b) educated me on the technology behind the comfort of the soles c) gave recommendations. I also noticed that the employee was alone in the store but was able to attend to the inquiries and fittings of many customers.
Because of the effort that the employee gave in answering all my questions, I now know that skechers is a great brand. Now, Im an owner of a very comfortable walking shoe. (I walk 7km daily and stand for more than 10 hours in a day)
I will definitely bring my wife and son to the Skechers store in Richmond and Purchase shoes for them.
When you're in Skechers in Richmond Center, try on GoWalk variants and make sure to look for the employee with long hair named Dalton (zoom in photo)
I hope all personnel in the sales roles had the enthusiasm, passion, and style of Dalton.
