★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The feathers keep coming out of the jacket I got and its horrible. The girl who helped me said if I ever had one before I would know that this is how it works.... well with my The North Face and Eddie Bauer ones I haven't face this problem for over 2 years. And this Roots jacket keeps lining my seats with feathers. I don't recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a bad experience with one sale rep, Gabby. She was repeatedly consecending when I asked a question about gift cards. Left without purchase as I was so upset. Roots is a good brand, maybe they need to train some of their staff better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in Roots at Scarborough Town Centre the past 2 days and on both occasions the staff was not engaged not helpful and very rude. This comes as a surprised as ive been shopping from Roots since I was a teenager and generally always had great customer service when im shopping. The ladies in the store almost make me want to never shop at Roots again! Not acceptable during this time when we all are stressed and dealing with covid. 10/10 do not recommend Roots Scarborough Town Centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst service. My wife and I were inside the store and she wanted to try on just 1 product. The personnel didn't allow her to try the product. I mean, it was 12 minutes before the closing time, 12 minutes is enough time to try it and see if that's fine to buy it. If you can't try any product why do they have the doors open, just close it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I keep popping into this mall store as well as Roots Outlet looking for a specific jacket.
Roots products are high quality and command brand recognition throughout the world. I found this out when I was recently in Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong.
When selecting clothing I want to buy, I don’t buy Made in China items but heavily favour Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia. The cotton used feels and wear so much more comfortable.
Anyhow, customer inquiry/service is great.
I just haven’t found the desired zipper in a liner jacket yet but I’ll keep looking as the spring collection should be coming out soon!
