This was the perfect place if you are in Banff for a snowboard trip. The rooms were perfect for unwinding after a long day on the slopes. Rooms were clean and adequate, the heaters worked so well (I went in early Feb. when it was in the negatives for weather) so coming back to a toasty room was so nice. If there was one thing that was a bummer, it would be the thin walls. You could hear the loud talkers/walkers or drunk ppl in the hallway. So depending on how much of a Karen you are that could prevent you from staying here. But for the price and convenience of this hotel, it was worth just putting in some ear plugs and problem solved.

Spent almost 4 weeks here whilst visiting family. Great hotel - very comfortable bed and good sized room - nice view of Cascade mountain. The staff coped really well with the restrictions of Covid; when I ran out if anything it was replaced immediately. Very helpful receptionists who printed off my documentation for return to the UK amongst other things. El Toro restaurant next door was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

Pretty nice location. The male staff member was super friendly. The female staff member was extremely rude and not helpful. Our blankets were filthy. There was several large yellow stains, and when we asked for new blankets, they weren’t sure if they would be able to find one for us. Eventually they did though. Make sure to check your bedding before you sleep!

Overall, room is nice and newly renovated. Location is great as well. However we are shocked by the attitude of the receptionist working at the counter. She was extremely rude, constantly on her cellphone, and when we tried to ask her question, she said "Don't interrupt me..." . We asked for her name, she said Abby..but I'm not sure if it's true. I hope the management looks into the people they hire because, seriously speaking, your hotel is nicely renovated, but if your working staff is rude, it will greatly affected your review

We stayed here because our usual hotels were sold out. Overall the updated rooms and balcony with views are really nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The one thing we did have a problem with was the bed. It was very soft, I’m wondering if they updated the mattresses when they did the renovation. We would not stay again due to the bed. But if you like a soft bed you may not mind this hotel.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. The room was filthy. Hair all over the shower wall and bathroom floor. We pulled back the sheets and there was brown chunks of who knows what all over them. We called down and were able to be moved to another room, but the second room was still dirty, hair everywhere, food on the floor, a bottle full of cigarette butts on the balcony, and a broken glass. You could tell that the towels were not clean. Stains all over the sheets too. Absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe they are allowed to host guests. When we switched rooms we were told that we would get a full refund for the troubles, the next morning when we went to check out, the new lady at the front desk said we couldn’t get a refund and she didn’t believe us that the lady the night before had said that. She wouldn’t call a manager or the lady from the night before. She was no help and rude, and did not know how to problem solve or treat customers respectfully considering the horrible quality of our stay.

The room is super clean. The location of the hotel is very convenient to major stores and restaurants of Banff. The underground parking is a great amenity. Ana was very helpful that she did help us to print out the park pass to save our trouble. Great customer service!

The location is the best part of this dated hotel in downtown Banff. With my family of four and pet we had a double room. The room was nice and clean. Had all amenities expected in a hotel room at this price point. Fridge, microwave, flat screen TVs, etc. Most amenities of Banff are within walking distance. The rest of the hotel was very dated. We were disappointed with the lack of service from the staff. We were told upon check in that due to Covid regulations (there are currently no restrictions in Alberta) there would be no room service and would have to ask for service if needed. We were there four nights and asked for clean towels and for garbage to be collected. This never happened. When we are paying $250/night on average it would be nice for them to provide these basic services upon request.
