I have been visiting Melanie Lyne for past few years i find the women's and girls clothing are always new style and clothes last longer. Staff is helpful to find you right choice and size .

If you're looking for dress for any special occasion, e.g. wedding or similar, very limited selections and sizes. I feel like most stores are offering limited merchandise due to long lockdown.

The manager has terrible customer service skills. She was rude and unprofessional . At least her staff were pleasant, but I will never shop at this location again.Lost my business.

This is unfortunate that staff in Laura and Melanie Lyne do not respect customers. They are the most rude people I have ever met in my life. I noticed that Melanie Lyne and Laura have 30% off on some items at Cyber Monday. I called customer service at the same day and I asked them whether I can return for a refund if I purchase these items. The customer service said if there is no "final sale" or "exchange only" label you can return if you wish. I purchased a few items from Laura and one from Melanie Lyne that day. It took 10 days to receive my order from Melanie Lyne!!! I tried it but I didn't like the fit. So I went to Melanie Lyne in Yorkdale to return it for a refund. Unfortunately the woman working in that store was shocked because I could purchase a $118 item only for $41! ThenΨŒβ€Œ she said she will give me store credit instead of a refund! She said the discount was more than 50% of the original price, so this item is "exchange only"! I remembered that I purchased "exchange only" items before. Each time the phrase "exchange only" existed in the receipt. I attached my receipt for this purchase. There is no "exchange only"!!! I tried calling the customer service. I waited more than 30 minutes on the phone but no one answered. Then, the woman started insulting me while processing a refund!!! Unfortunately this is the second time that I see this kind of disrespectful behavior in Laura and Melanie Lyne. And this is the last time I purchase from these stores.

I absolutely love this store the selection and sizes are amazing and if they sell out in your size they will get it from another store. There is a sales associate she is absolutely amazing she goes out of her way for you her name is Gala. I absolutely recommend this store.

I bought two dresses for a wedding party from this location. One was in stock ( a black color dress) at the store and the other one ( a navy blue one) was ordered to be delivered to my house. I purchased some beautiful stones from Fabrikland to add to the black dress. While doing that in the day light I realized the signs of worn/used on the dress. Very disappointing. Called their customer service and was told that, they can't do anything and I had to take it back to the store. Called the store spoke to their manager PAULINE, she was not happy to help at all. She asked about the tag ( they have a tag attached to the back of the skirt on every dress and if removed you can't return the dress) if still was attached and I said that I removed it since I had no intention to return the dress. I explained how I even spent another $50 to add stones to the dress. Her, in a very unfriendly tone expressed how she can not believe what I say just because the ticket is not attached to the dress anymore. Now I'm left with a used dress that I bought at regular price and the wedding is coming up. Few days after the 2nd dress arrived. I wish I took photos of this one. Completely worn marks, sweat marks, deodorant marks and the funny part was the important ticket WAS attached. The dress USED and it was shipped to me. The box looked beat up and dress wasn't even wrapped in papers before they put it on the box to ship. This was very shocking. Next day absolutely upset took both to the store as the customer service said nothing they can do. Their assistant manager SUSAN saw them and looked absolutely shocked. She said she can only return them. I asked to give me discount because I spent money on the black dress and she answered no. I said what about my stones? She said to take them off. I asked for some scissors to do that and yet was worried and told me to be careful not to damage the dress. She was intending to sell the used/worn dress to someone else. I shared all of this with their customers service person ANGIE, who was the only one to guide me and also followed up with me. I left a voicemail for their higher manager LISA LAHAIE and never received any response from her. ANGIE spoke to her higher manager at the customer service department and sent me a $20 gift card. I appreciate her help very much but it's not useful to me anymore. Only 2 days left to the wedding I was desperately looking for another dress and it wasn't fun at all. Please see attached for the photos of the black dress. Never trust the tickets attached to their dresses. There is still a good possibility the dress could be used before. Their manager told me that I was suppose to check the dress before I'd purchased them. I still don't know how they managed to mail me a worn dress!!!
