My very first time at a kate spade and wanted to leave the store crying. After browsing a little bit I finally picked what I wanted to purchase. My husband and I stood in front of the check out while two employees stood talking to each other than walked around us and away from the cash completely ignoring us. I did not make a purchase and will not now as the employees made me feel like I was not good enough to buy it.

I’ve had good experiences here. Nice store with cute displays. Kate Spade has hit its peak as brand though...and is steadily decreasing in popularity. This means constant sales and promotions which is a plus if you still like this brand I guess... They have a great selection of sale and clearance items; so I always drop by this location when buying gifts for the Kate Spade fans in my life

Beautiful Store, impeccably merchandised. Was drawn in to the store by the spring displays. I visited this location this weekend with a girlfriend and we did not feel comfortable. The store was OVER STAFFED for such a small space. I counted 8 employees at one point and we were the only customers in the store, it was awkward . A few of them pre occupied with iPads. we were approached 4 times when we just wanted to look. Most likely won’t be back..too much tension, felt like being in a shark tank.

The greeter was exceptionally sweet. The manager and another staff member continously informed me that I would not fit into an outfit that I asked to try on. When I walked out of the change room, one of the staff had said, "it doesn't fit, right!". Horrible experience. Employees in this industry do not need to provide their personal opinions when not asked for it. It's a shame that your a company clothing and accessoring women. You've lost a client for life!

I live in the states, and was made aware that an Apple Watch band I desperately wanted was only available at Canadian Kate Spade stores. The team at Yorkdale helped me so much. They were always kind and willing to work with me in helping me purchase from their store over the phone and ship it to the U.S. Maybe it’s the Canadian thing, or maybe a Kate Spade thing, but whatever the reason, I will always be grateful for such genuine kindness and amiability. If I’m ever in Toronto, I will most definitely be visiting the Yorkdale Kate Spade!

I had purchased a purse from this location and frankly was surprised by how I was treated. I was met with a salesperson, who looked me up and down – TWICE – as if I were a bag of trash, instead of a customer and, more importantly, a person…with feelings. It was apparent by how she treated me and a few choice words she used that she felt I did not belong in the store. The store, itself, is classy but this salesperson exemplified zero class, had no concept of politeness, customer service and frankly did not know how to interact with people. I had asked about a specific bag, which for whatever reason she kept trying to talk me out of purchasing and instead kept recommending a significantly cheaper bag, because it was 'much more casual', she kept using the word casual religiously. I ended up purchasing the bag that I went there for and ignored the useless, rude sales rep. I wasn't impressed to say the least and it's an experience I will never forget, I would not recommend this shop.

Was at this location yesterday and a gentleman wearing a tie and the cutest tie clip assisted me with a wallet. He was patient and did not hover over me like some of the thirsty female staff do when I shop there. It wasn’t about a commission for him, he walked away to give me space he just wanted me to feel good about my purchase (at which I was promptly approached by his colleague which made me feel awkward and uncomfortable with her forcing herself on me) in the end the gentleman did a fabulous job and I wish the staff would be more like him. Giving one star because In general the sales staff need to back off a little and not force themselves on someone. Sadly this is quite common in commission based stores
