★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some times it's hazardous to my budget to shop here, but today I only picked up 3 things that were not on my list. I am repairing an old trunk for a friend and as I was in the neighborhood decided to shop in store. There is so much that I didn't realize that I needed every time I shop here but it also solves parts issues that noone else can. A great shopping experience as usual.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff and exciting range of products. What you find here and the range might be difficult to find elsewhere. If you are looking to buy or find one you better search the store website online while you're at home. One product I noticed was coco peat and shell pack, was ridiculously expensive, not sure why.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well organized store and helpful, knowledgeable staff. Easy to find what you're looking for, as areas are broken up into different product categories. Generally have items not available everywhere, although some products available elsewhere. Always a go to store for interesting things. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, can assist with product questions. Just wish there was some soft music playing in the background, I think it would improve the ambience of the shopping experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store is organized with separate sections for different areas of interest. It would be helpful to have signs above the different sections so they are a bit easier to find.
I was a little disappointed there was only a small selection of upholstery items. The wood finishing part of the store, however, was great. In addition to the varnishes, oils, brushes, you can also purchase books related to your area of interest.
The products here are of a higher quality than what you can purchase at Home Depot and are accordingly a bit more expensive.
The staff are helpful and happy to answer questions.
I would recommend this store to others and will be returning in the near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lee Valley is my go-to place for quality hand tools, interesting Christmas presents, cabinetry fasteners and fittings and all manner of hardware needs. They have a broad array of gardening products as well. Everything is top quality or they wouldn't sell it. Check out their website the next time you need something specialized for any kind of project around the house because you never know - they might just have the solution.
If you're looking for cheap go elsewhere... If you're looking for value and quality, go to Lee Valley. To be clear, their prices are very reasonable, especially given that the quality is such that whatever you buy will last you a lifetime.
