Purchased custom sofa from Muse and Merchant. Fabric ripping after 2 months of light use (we have only 2 people in our home). We did not damage this couch. The company itself said it looks like a "pull in fabric" and states we should have noticed defects upon delivery. Asked for manager to call me back, manager did not call me back. They say their "one year warranty" does not apply to the fabric. The fabric is also pulling at the seams at incision points and feather fill is everywhere. Save your money and go elsewhere.

This is a great furniture and decor store. We have been here many times and we keep coming back. The art is great and we bought the softest couch. We also bought a huge elephant print that is our reminder of our trip to Africa.

Very helpful staff who took the time to figure out what I was looking for based on my apartment and style. They found me an awesome sofa and bed which I love (Leo sofa and Havana bed). Installation service exceeded my expectations, no hassles, they installed the bed and sofa and took away all packaging. 6 months later the sofa and bed are proving to be high quality, giving 5 stars as I couldn't be happier.

I have shopped many many times at both locations of Muse&Merchant, Coquitlam and Langley. In fact most if not all of our furniture is from Muse. However this time I had horrible experience with Coquitlam location. We purchased one of their wood tree bench, which is very heavy as its made out of real tree. Just for a history, I have 3 other these kind of tree made counsel tables from Muse as well that we purchased couple of years ago. Anyway, they charge extra delivery for these tree made furniture as per the store associate, because they have to send extra men to deliver these. Like I said I have bought these previously as well and eveytime we pay extra delivery and explanation is same. However they never do send extra men?? Last 2 times when counsel tree tables were delivered only 2 guys showed up. Which I didn't care however this time I purchased a bench again heavy tree made, same thing paid extra for delivery and comes delivery day only 2 guys showed up, looking at them I figured they do this often I am sure they have figured a way out to deliver these like previous 2 times. This should have been fine however this time the bench was dropped flipped during delivery because it's heavy and was damaged, multiple noticeable scratches on the top right in the middle of bench. I was told to call my sales person Naomi and a repair ticket will be created and someone will come and fix these and it will be all good. In the mean time, we happen to swing by Muse during boxing days, this is before any repair man came. We met with one of their manager, believe her name was Eddie, women with european accent who apparently has 20 years experience as a manger however doesn't know how to speak with customer. We asked her question when can we expect repair man to come and what would happen if he is not able to fix it as the scratches are quite deep. Her response will take it back, and she was so arrogant and made multiple comments like we have no problem selling these items. But did I ask you to take it back? Did you take the time to find out if customer wants to return it as these are one of kind items. In addition, this is your best solution, not to mention additional cost your store will incorporate sending delivery drivers at your cost to pick this up, your delivery drivers almost broke their backs delivering these. Easy for you to sit in the store and say will bring it back. Me as a customer feel for those guys, you work with them show some care & concern for your team. I guess you should come along with them one day and try to deliver a furniture, then will talk? What really surprises me i didn't even asked for it to be returned, I just wanted it fixed or offer a compensation as its damaged not in condition that we bought at were promised at and paid asking price. Anyway after 2 weeks repair man shows up, and says he will not be able to fix these. He did whatever he could but still these are not fixed. There were other damages which he sanded and blended. I have not heard from either managers after the repair man left and couldn't fix the scratches. What we were offered by another manger named Anita when she called my husband was Muse will not charge you delivery if you like to buy another bench that you were inquiring about, which so far noone has reached out to us on either of that inquiry. So, we cannot fix the damages, but spend more money and will not charge delivery.... that is your solution?? BTW- Eddie didn't even had decency to speak with us, she made Anita call us who obviously was not looped in on anything. So, can't really blame her. Giving 1 star for Naomi, our salesperson. Otherwise this store and management is nothing but ridiculous joke. Let's see if I hear from store manger or anyone after this review, which will show how much they care for their regular customers. I waited 2 weeks to put in a review to give them benefit of the doubt... noone has reached out yet. You have your jobs because ppl shop at your stores... remember that!

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! We spent thousands at this store. We had an issue with our sofa a couple months ago. I asked to speak to the owner and I was denied that right. The manager is a little old guy who thinks he is gods gift to the world. I believe his name is GERT. WHAT A FRUIT CAKE. Pretty much told me its to bad that you have issues, and to go away. I spent $3000 dollars on a sofa... I also spent $1600 on dining room chairs, which also have issues. If you want to waste your money then shop here. THE BRICK has better quality stuff... THE BRICK.. that says a lot. P.S. You would think the owner or someone who contact you if you were this dissatisfied and left this review. I know I would if I owned a store. They simply do not care.

Just had my sofas and living room tabel delivered and I love them! Our new house is starting to feel like a cozy home. The customer service I received from our sales rep all the way to the amazing delivery guys that came today, Was nothing less than a 5 star.

Last year when we got new furniture for most of our house, we went to Scandesigns which is right next door. When we needed more furniture for the last few rooms this year, my wife fell in love with the live edge dining tables at muse and merchant . The table and console are a perfect fit for our home. Because each piece is unique, we didn't have to wait long for delivery since the table we saw in the showroom was the one we had delivered. We'll be back in a few years for more when the kids move out.

Have visited their online store and they had some beautiful and unique looking pieces, so wanted to check out the store to see what other pieces they had and wished that we had found this store before we bought all of our furniture for our home. The quality and variety of furniture pieces were absolute beautiful and priced competitively. The couch we had bought from another store was a 1k cheaper here, however, we had our custom made so that could have added to the price. Definitely know where to come back to for any new pieces we may need in the future.
