β β β β β Great place to get furniture if you are looking to receive it around one year from now. Got 2 desks here and a dining table with chairs two months ago. So far only one desk has arrived. The desk is nice (hence 2 stars) but I really need something to eat on. The original delivery date used to be mid-June and now it changed to mid-July. Itβs not even that covid is bad now! And even mid-July they cannot guarantee! In spite of their terrible delivery deadlines they refuse to give any discounts, refunds, or do any accommodations. Their designs are good but do you know whatβs better? Having actual freaking furniture in your house!

β β β β β My husband and I had in mind two leather recliners for our living room. We were helped by Andrea. She guided us to some chairs that were the right size for us. Who knew chairs came in sizes? She also helped us choose the exact right colour of fabric to match our living room, with us just describing our current furniture. She gave us some colour swatches to take home before we made our final decision, and the one she suggested was perfect. Due to the supply chain interruption, we were told that the chairs would take six months. They did. Now that we have them, we both honestly feel that they were one of the best purchases we have ever made. The comfort and instant stress relief that comes from sitting on one of these chairs is outstanding! It is now part of our self care routine, for our well-being. I highly recommend these chairs and ScanDesigns.

β β β β β I wish I could give zero, Scan design was the worst company to work with, very irresponsible in customer service, I can't say how disappointed I'm with them in words, don't recommend them at all! I have bought a dining table in July and I had to get that at the end of October, they said it's here but played with us and never delivered the table, they were not honest! Refunds do not solve the problem after these crazy 5 months and everything gets more expensive! Hate the whole process

β β β β β ScanDesigns' stock in trade is clean upscale Scandinavian design and craftsmanship - tables can feature clever folding mechanisms and nearly invisible space saving features that are delightful to see in action. Upon first glance we expected sticker shock but were pleasantly surprised instead. We're glad we saved ScanDesigns for last in Coquitlam's "furniture alley" because it cemented our decisions, having seen everything on offer, to go all in here.
We furnished an entire suite for less than expected and the quality is top notch. Staff was informative, helpful and unobtrusive, unlike most other furniture stores in this area which trend toward aggressive salespeople. Special thanks to Jesse for taking the time to answer so many questions!
We'll unreservedly recommend SD to our friends and family after this experience.

β β β β β A woman with short hair on the second floor was very rude to us. Do not know it is because of our Asia face or other reason. When we had a conversation with herοΌshe answered us very impatiently and walked away. Other people are niceοΌbut we will never come back again. I accept this kind of person in life cause people are diversityοΌbut cannot accept this kind of people do a service job.

β β β β β We bought two Mega GP311 chairs after trying almost all of the chairs in the store. Andrea was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. She was genuinely interested in fitting us with chairs that matched our body size. We will definetly continue to include ScanDesigns in our future furniture searches. Thanks again for the help.

β β β β β We purchased a lovely sofa from this company and the experience has been excellent since the beginning. At first we called the store after getting a quote from another company/store on the North Shore that really didn't give us a good sense of what we are getting. The sales person, Ellen, took our call and was professional and knowledge of the product. We were really happy to order the sofa with Ellen and waited. Yes, it took us a few months to get it but Ellen has helped set the right expectation with us.
After taking delivery we found out that we had mis-specified the sofa. We contacted the store manager and she promptly looked into the matter and came back with three options that were ABOVE-AND-BEYOND what we would expected a store to do. This store took great ownership and we are extremely happy with the outcome, and will return in the future when we need other pieces of furniture. We highly recommend this company and the store.
