Bonita Z gave my wife the best service we could have asked for. She went over and above. My wife went in to purchase a simple wedding band to take on a vacation to Mexico. We were leaving to go the next day. Bonita had the ring sized within a very short period of time, since this was a Saturday and they closed early, thus ensuring that my Wife had her ring to take with her on vacation. My wife also purchased a rose gold bracelet and was very impressed with Bonita as she was such a "Sweetheart" to deal with and not a pushy sales person. Both of us have purchased jewelery over a 20 year time period from this store and are always happy to return, as we are treated like family and Bonita sealed the deal for us yesterday. We will be returning to do business again with her. My Wife highly recommends that you deal with her for all of your jewelery purchases.

Went in today to purchase an engagement ring and wedding bands Jared offered to help us. Had a few ideas what we were looking for. Very excited to do this together - even got my nails done! I was looking forward to the experience with my Iove. However, Jared I was told to I could walk along the cases and let him know if I liked something. That is good but I was only able to look at 1 ring at a time, not two at a time even to compare the together . No suggestions were offered, no descriptions or appraisals. There Was no effort. Energy or excitement. No suggestions based on the features I told home i liked. He was disengaged and on his phone. When other staff approached him he told her with a tone he was with customers but he was just sitting at one end when we were looking on our own. When we were looking to choose between 2 rings around $12000 I wanted to take a break to help me see them with fresh eyes and to look At watches for my partner. As I went down the steps to the main floor Jared called me back to tell me not to forget my coat in a way that made me feel he was done helping me. Throughout He kept making reference to when we came back, the next time we were there etc .. while we were seriously looking to purchase today. He did write the ring specs on a card, buy with a wee bit of customer service he could have sold one! They were gorgeous rings. I am bringing this to your attention, because it was nearly a day wrecker. When making this kind of purchase most people expected better service and a better experience in general. It should be fun. So we went to another jeweller and bought this beauty and 2 wedding bands. I purchased At a store that welcomed me, showed me options. Explained and educated us on diamond purchases..they helped my fiancé make me feel special making such a significant purchase .. not like an irritation. Today at independent Jewellers - where I have purchased some jewelry in the past - my experience which should have been so fun was really unenjoyable.

I was totally unprepared and didn't even have a ring! But that was no problem for Independent Jewellers. We drove there together and she picked out a ring she loved, and the goldsmiths had it sized and made for us in 20 minutes. Very knowledgeable salespeople and excellent customer service.

I went to Kelli on a family recommendation to have a custom engagement ring designed. I initially had a lot of excitement but also uncertainty on how to navigate the process. Great staff, a huge selection of quality product, and fair prices. I was looking for an engagement ring, and went to Independent Jewelers. Bonita helped me find the perfect ring in the owner's signature selection line (which has some incredibly well made rings, and the best quality diamonds). I couldn't be happier with the level of customer service I got from her. She has worked for Independent for 32 years, which I think really shows that they're a good company who treats their staff well. Independent has staff that has been there for the long haul, and an owner local to Edmonton who genuinely cares about their customers and the business. I would recommend Independent to anyone looking for a great place to shop for jewellery that wants to support a local, respectable company, and i will definitely be going back.

We were ring shopping all weekend and finished our day at Independant Jewellers and I am sure glad we did! Bonita was amazing to deal with, very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. We ended purchasing a wedding set and they had it ready for us to pick up that day! Highly recommend!

Over the last 5 years I’ve made multiple purchases from Independent Jewellers. Each time I’ve been very impressed with the service and efficiency of the experience. Samara has been my go to for any jewelry need. She is knowledgeable and extremely professional when it comes to any product on the market. She takes the time to understand exactly what I’m looking for and my budget. Recently I purchased a Rolex that I could not find at any other store in Alberta. Again Samara and the team at IJ exceeded my expectations as my watch arrived faster than promised. This will be the only store I make future jewelry purchases from.

After dealing with many pushy/unprofessional sales people at jewelry stores in West Edmonton Mall, I stopped at Independent Jewelers and had a great experience! I dealt with Jared, and he did a great job of finding an engagement ring that fit my budget, timeline, and style. The ring was actually custom made in house because it's not offered in rose gold from the manufacturer. Also, I got a small refund when it was discovered the ring required less gold than was originally quoted. Very honest!
