Honeycomb Midwives - Calgary

I had the pleasure of having Tiffany as my midwife and she was amazing!! As a first time mom, I wasn’t sure what to expect but Tiffany is knowledgeable, kind, and patient. She was always quick to respond to my concerns and questions. During my birth (which was at a hospital and during a pandemic!), Tiffany stayed with me the whole time and did everything she can to make sure I had a safe, smooth, and pleasant birth. Her postpartum care and home visits were also very appreciated during those early postpartum days. I would highly recommend Tiffany and honeycomb to anyone looking for midwifery care!

As a first time mom, i have nothing to compare my experience to. But, I do strongly feel i did not receive the care i was expecting and was disappointed with the care i received from my midwife. Due to a misjudgement, lack of communication and minimal care, I do not recommend Them, especially for first time mothers. Having my son has been the most wonderful experience, but it has left me feeling vulnerable, embarrassed and traumatized due to my experience. However, i did raise all my concerns with my midwife, she was receptive and empathetic towards my feelings.

I have experienced care from Honeycomb Midwives with my third, fourth and currently fifth babies. The midwives are very knowledgeable and have many years of experience. They care about keeping you as comfortable as possible during labour and delivery. The labour with my fourth baby at home was very difficult but my midwife helped everything go smoothly and I felt at ease knowing I could trust her experience. Thank you Cassie and Christy! You are a great team.

I had the pleasure of having both my babies delivered by Honeycombs Midwives. Both my first and second were amazing experiences from the very beginning! I went to Christy and Cassie after realizing I wasn’t getting the amount of attention I needed as a first mom with my Dr. I turned to Honeycomb midwifery as I wanted to get more one on one care and have my needs and questions addressed and not feel rushed. Boy did Cassie and Christy knock it out of the park! I am a person who feels the need to be in control all the time. Cassie and Christy made me feel safe from the very beginning. They foster such a positive and calm environment with their soft voices and friendly faces. I gave birth at home with both my sons and trust me when I say before meeting these ladies I thought home-birth was only something you see in movies! These ladies are so much more than my midwives now! They know my kids and know so much about me and my family. They wear so many different hats depending on their patients needs. I can’t count the times they played therapist and listened to me talking about my concerns in my life and struggles. I had to go to the hospital early during my second pregnancy due to a false alert. Christy met me at the hospital in the middle of the night and she was so incredibly sweet. I gave birth to my second child during Christmas and Cassie still came to see me on Christmas Eve ! They genuinely care about their patients and want you to have a great experience! Now to talk about their credentials; these ladies have over 20 years of combined experience in the field so they know their stuff! Before giving birth so many people told me I could never give birth naturally because of my petite figure (size 0). I gave natural birth to both my sons with no tears!!! I recommended my friend to them and she and her husband were so amazed by the level of care and attention these ladies provided. If i had more kids, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to walk me through the pregnancy. I can’t recommend Honeycomb Midwives enough to anyone who wants extra care and a super amazing birth experience!

I had an amazing experience with Honeycomb midwives! As an expatriate family in the middle of a pandemics, we couldn't have family support or friends coming over. Cassie, Christie and Jenny were awesome to us and they seemed like family around during delivery and post partum. We are glad we chose to apply for Midwifery care.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Honeycomb Midwives. Cassie and Christy are absolutely amazing! My first birth was in the states with an OB. When I found out I was pregnant with my second I knew I wanted a different experience. My first birth was a c-section and I was determined to have VBAC. Every step of the way Cassie and Christy were supportive and encouraging. I want to thank them both and Savannah. I went into labor and was not making much progress. Cassie got to my spouse and I's home and helped us spin our baby onto my cervix. Within 3 hours of them arriving we were heading to the hospital. I had an amazing natural delivery within 2 hours of arriving at the hospital. The follow up care received by Christy and Cassie was outstanding. Midwifery care is essential to the birthing process. I am so grateful to have had this experience and will be seeing Cassie and Christy again when we have our third baby!

I love the ladies at honeycomb midwives! I have had 5 home births with Cassie and Christy as my caregivers. I have always felt cared for and listened to. Any time I have had a question or concern they are always there to listen and give advice. I love after having my babies they come to me for the first week they come to your home to care for you and baby. If your looking for excellent care from midwives who go above and beyond to make sure that the babies and mothers are healthy and safe these ladies will be right for you.

We had a great experience with Cassie and Christy. I was looking for a different experience from my first birth which was induced in the hospital and so I chose to go with a midwife for my second birth. They were incredibly supportive and when I went into precipitous labour at home Cassie walked my husband through delivering our baby over speaker phone. She kept us both calm while racing (safely) to our house. The after care she provided for our surprise home birth was exceptional. I would highly recommend honey comb midwifery.
