As a novice in Wine and Spirit, Franklin, one of the staff literally gave me one of my best customer service experiences I have ever had! We walked through the store while he gave me interesting tidbits and introductions to various products. He talked about his favorite drink, how it's made, and why it is a good product. He mentioned which staff had specialized knowledge in particular products from a country. For example, he said that, Nate is his go to guy about Japanese liquor because of his travels in Japan. Overall, I had a great time here and I definitely see myself coming back to try another recommended drink. Oh, I didn't mentioned, Franklin convinced me to try the Valpolicella 2017 as my first introduction to Italian wine, so I bought it. Hasn't tried it yet, but I know it'll be good!

They never have anything that I want, or what they advertise they should have. I know there are supply chain issues with Covid but they don't have ANYthing - like my top 5 different scotch choices -- not One?? Crazy. Other Liquor stores seem to be managing to have stock so ... I'm not sure what to say... It's too bad because they're my local store and dog friendly. But I have to go elsewhere.
R	R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazingly good selection for beers compared to be many of the other smaller stores in the area. I also really like to see they are supporting many great independent Canadian breweries and distilleries, rather than capitalizing on the Molson "craft" brands which are all, arguably, total sellouts and lacking in quality anyways. Staff are also super nice, and they always have various boxes ready to go for those awkwardly sized orders where a bag just won't cut it. A+

I was in the other night to pick out a bottle of wine for my wife and wanted an associates recommendation on a good red wine. I don't know the name of the girl who was "helping" me because nobody was wearing a name tag but she was on the chubbier side with light brown hair and she was wearing glasses. This young lady didn't know anything about the products they're selling and she was not able to answer any of the questions I had. I politely asked if I could speak with someone who knows more about wine after which she appeared very offended and started to tear up and ran to the fridge room. I was baffled and left standing in front of the wine shelves attracting weird looks from other customers. I was also confused because I was nothing but polite and just wanted the best opinion they could give me and she was not providing it. I found this encounter and the scene she made very uncomfortable and I think managment should take note of this and make sure it doesn't happen to other customers. Won't be seeing me here again even though I live in the neighborhood.
