We hired Lindsay as our doula to help us out as new parents. At first we were not sure what to expect but Lindsay made the whole process seamless and we felt supported the entire time. She was absolutely amazing during the pregnancy, answered all our questions and was available for anything we needed. When it was time to deliver our baby Lindsay was there by our side the entire time. She knew exactly what to do to make me feel calm and comfortable during my labour, I feel like I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. I highly recommend Lindsey for a doula, she is absolutely amazing!

Lindsey came into our lives when I hired her to be my doula with our firstborn and wound up requiring a planned c-section due to his transverse, shoulder presenting positioning in my womb. He was really, really stuck. For the next few years, because we adore her skills a photographer as well as her personality, we hired her to do our yearly family portraits and they've been amazing! As soon as we found out we were pregnant with our second, we hired her immediately as our Doula, and thank goodness we did, because if it weren't for her, I don't think I would have been able to have my vbac. Lindsey not only gave me the Spinning Babies info that helped me turn my second baby from "Frank breech" to "head down" in just one day! I was also able to experience a non-medicated birth and witness what my AMAZING body is capable of, thanks to her! Lindsey showed me how to manage my labour pains holistically, through each contraction, with her amazing breathing and om-ing techniques for over 8 hours of active labour. The time literally flew by for me. She helped me create the perfect birthing cave in the hospital bathroom, with fairy lights, a birthing ball, her Tens machine (electro-shock therapy for muscles) and kept me and my hubby both calm and centered with her intuitively selected music and presence. Thank you, Lindsey, for helping me achieve my dream of experiencing a natural, vaginal birth after cesarean; and for helping me avoid needing another c-section with your professional skills and knowledge. You're truly a gift to our birthing community, and a true friend to our family. We cannot recommend all of her services, more.

I do not have the words to describe how strongly I recommend Lindsey and Adora Birth + Wellness. If you are pregnant, hire her immediately! It will be the best decision you make! Aside from my husband, Lindsey's presence during my labour and delivery was the most valuable, useful, calming, and comforting, and I'm not sure how I would have gotten through all the unexpected twists and turns of my delivery experience - including an induction, accepting pain medication when I hadn't initially wanted to, decreasing fetal heartbeat during active labour leading to strong pushing and a forceps-assisted delivery, manual placenta removal, severe post-partum hemmorhage and a blood transfusion, and level 3 tearing and stitching - without Lindsey by my side. We loved the pictures she took during the birth - moments that could never have been captured quite like that without her insightful lens. Lindsey is exceptionally dedicated to her vocation - it is obviously more than a career to her, but a calling. She elevates the role of doula beyond all expectations. As a first time mother, and being an older mother, I had severe anxiety about many things during the pregnancy and would anxiously text her with all my concerns - oh no; I accidentally ate a sprout in my Vietnamese takeout....I jumped to reach something on a shelf in my closet; will this hurt baby?...my friend gave me a pedicure using shellac polish; is that ok? - and she responded to all my concerns, no matter how small or large, with specific, evidence based information, and tonnes of empathy and positivity. Her postpartum follow-ups are also very reassuring and helpful. If we decide to have another baby, I will be hitting that text button soooo fast to let Lindsey know as soon as I get a positive pregnancy test so I can secure her services again!!

I cannot recommend Lindsey enough! We had a very traumatic birth experience with our first and knew we wanted something different for our second child and Lindsey helped us achieve this. She answered questions throughout the entire pregnancy and guided myself and my husband through L&D with ease. She also provided us with the most beautiful photos of our sons birth that we will cherish forever. 100% would recommend Lindsey and Adora!

Lindsey ended up being the back up doula at our home birth as our hired doula was unable to make it. If you believe everything happens for a reason, this situation was no different! Lindsey ended up being exactly who I needed in my birth space that morning. She was calm, respectful and anticipated my needs without me even knowing them myself. She helped guide my husband to support me and set up the brith pool. She was also great with our two dogs and very professional with our midwives. She surprised us afterwards with a gallery of beautiful photos she captured and I’m so grateful to have those moments with me forever. If you’re looking for an exceptional doula in the Calgary area and/or for an amazing birth photographer, Lindsey should be on your list of individuals to interview and consider!! I’ve since stayed connected with Lindsey and her wealth of knowledge and passion for birth is inspiring!

Working with Lindsey was one of the best decisions we made through out the pregnancy. Being new parents, her experience, knowledge, and care before, during, and after the birth was invaluable. She was always available to answer our questions and went out of her way to make the experience as positive as possible. Highly recommend.

Lindsey is an absolute gem to have with you during your pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum experience. Although Lindsey is based out of Calgary and I live in Saskatchewan - she was able to provide a plethora of knowledge from a distance not only for my first baby in 2019, but also for my second in 2022.
